Oh ye of little faith. Pft, like Alexander Graham Bell once said; "Ask and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened to you, seek and you shall find!".

I rly wanted to recap RAW this week Tho I have to say Kanebot and Steph both did a great job. In any case, here's a preview of what it had been like;
IF I HAD REVIEWED RAW

In the form of a response tho, we dont need a 3rd recap:

1. DX-McMahon: The only effect this has had on storylines is getting Mick "fired". Also, who the hell has a spraypaint can that big? I mean, is it really that offensive to Vince that Trips put a big sticker on his jet? The only real vandalism here was by Shawn on that office and on our minds.

2. J. Hardy as I call him with a pretty under-control performance. Come on Jeff, cant you wrestle straight and ACT like a weirdo? That'd be great, thank you.

3. Edges gets thrown into the water, at which point he is unable to swim back and kick John's ass; hydrophobia?

4. Vince coulda said, "you kiss my ass right now or Shane here will shoot you in the shoulder-blade with this here western-style six shooter pistol" and I woulda been like, go ahead sucka! Only to find out he was gonna shoot Melina at which point I would be unphased.... what does M. Foley's firing add up to? For some reason I imagined the hiring of a mysterious new guy to ECW who is revealed to be Mankind!
Plausible?

ALSO: The first thing I thought when Mick got fired was; "OMG this has been the longest WORK ever! It started all the way since Mick posted that blog saying he had a crush on Melina! WTH!" (I think in acronyms)

Some quick thoughts...

Edge rules. I can't believe I was bummed when they broke up Edge and Christian so many years ago. I wish they would do a E and C DVD with their promos, a collage of ALL their 30 second poses and of course matches.

Did anybody catch the way Lita was looking at Jeff? Was that her way of "acting" like she still cares about him? Will she turn on Edge if this fued continues? Maybe Jeff will turn and it'll be Edge and Jeff vs the world.

I wish they'd push Matt Hardy more than Jeff. I loved Matt Hardy V1 and I don't think I'm going to like Jeff Hardy V3. Matt gave good interviews; something I'm not sure Jeff can do.

Carlito's time is coming and I think Randy may his next step. I remember when I liked his Randy Reports but I now believe he just got lucky.

I like the three team tag match. I liked the fact the highlanders won and I liked the way they won the match too. It had a very 80s tag team feel to it. Rory was Ricky! I wish they could keep the Spirit Squad strong and still put over the other tag teams but it doesn't seem like they want to do that.

I think Vince's madness is going to drive him to bring back the NWO.

I can't believe Mick agreed to kiss Vince's ass. The real life Mick not the onscreen character.

Umaga KILLED Kane? Does this also mean Kane's IC chase is over? Is Umaga going to beat Kane in their future match? Who's the next IC contender? Shelton? Carlito?

I think he did it to help get Melina over. Kinda sad when you think about it. How deep does his obsession for her really run?

Because other than being the owner of the company, you can be sure any segment involving Vince himself has been through his hands from beginning to end, and no matter what input anyone else has had nothing would make TV if he didn't think it was up to his standards. Therefore the awful McMahon/DX segments we've been seeing for the last two months were certainly green-lighted (and perhaps even written) by Vince.

Right, I mean, it's not as if Vince wasn't there doing the same things when HBK voiced and vetoed all of the other problems he had with various wrestlers and storylines the first time around. Yup. YES, McMahon might be the one having the final say on everything, but don't be naive enough to think that a little coaxing from HHH or HBK or even Hogan hasn't made hime rethink his stances or completely change directions over the years.

A lot of people seem to think a pinfall means everything and that Michaels pinning Edge, Masters or whoever was "burying" them, when in fact just being treated as an equal was elevating them far more than a win or loss ever would. That's why people have a problem with Hogan - nobody is ever presented as anywhere near his level so when he inevitably wins it makes his opponent look like shit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...get of the high horse, with all due respect -- propaganda? Wow. I didn't know we all had to like HBK or never point a finger at him in accusation.

And all of those guys...where are they now? Yea, still in the same spots (both in the eyes of people and management) that they were before battling Michaels. It doesn't matter if HBK got pinned or not -- that's not the issue -- the issue is him hogging airtime which could at least be given to the CHAMPION(SHIP storyline/wrestlers) and/or not caring that his act (which has been STALE for those last 3 years, unless facing someone who could outshine him -- Shelton, Angle -- or named HHH). is incredibly corny.

And as far as Hogan, it's because no one IS on his level -- at least if we're talking WWF/E and in storyline. When you have a guy who was (kayfabe) the World Champion for 4 years, beat and slammed Andre (who is untouchable in the eyes of WWE), Bundy, Studd, Savage (the 2nd longest reigning IC champ, when it meant something), headlined 8(9) straight WrestleManias, built the WWE -- then YES, psychologically, no one is on Hulk Hogan's level. If anything, given the above, it hurts Hogan (in terms of reputation and/or as someone the WWE wants to use as a special attraction to bring $$$) to have HBK beat him.

HBK didn't lose anything from losing to Hogan; that is, except his temper when he threw his little tantrum the following RAW by insulting Hogan because he knew he could get away with it. He was still one of the main focuses of RAW and he didn't lose any credibility. Neither did Orton, because it's HULK HOGAN. Andre didn't lose anything by losing to Hogan. He didn't lose anything by losing to the Warrior or Demolition or anyone...because he was Andre.

All I'm saying is that it's funny how the IWC are so quick to point fingers at people that dislike Hogan, Vince, HHH and then make excuses when "favorites" like HBK do the same thing. Or cite his being "Born-Again" as somehow penance or an excuse for him still being selfish and an asshole.

That's completely different to the point I was making, namely that anything involving Vince isn't going to be left to anyone but Vince himself. Numerous people have referred to him as a "perfectionist" when it comes to his own character, so while I agree Michaels and Triple H will have certainly had some input, I'm more convinced the majority of it is down to Vince, not least because the Kiss My Ass Club has been dragged up on a monthly basis since the feud began.

Propaganda was a poor choice of words so I apologise, it just seemed odd you went off on a huge rant at Michaels when he seems to be the least to blame out of everyone involved in the feud.

As for those guys being in the same spots, I wouldn't agree with that at all. Masters working with Michaels legitimised him as an upper card guy when before he was a walking joke squashing jobbers every week. It's not Michaels' fault he got suspended. The first time I ever saw Edge as a potential main eventer was during the feud with Michaels (the streetfight on Raw especially). A month later he won Money in the Bank and was well on his way. Michaels carried Shelton Benjamin to the best singles match of his career. So good that people were clamouring for a huge Shelton push before they realised he was a charisma vacuum. He pretty much "made" Umaga a few weeks ago too. I can't think of anyone who has suffered from working with Michaels since his return.

Nobody is on Hogan's level because nobody is allowed to be on Hogan's level. Nobody was on Austin's level during the Attitude era but he still worked as an equal with The Rock, Foley and (eventually) Triple H, not to mention Benoit, Jericho and even Guerrero before his first walk-out. It didn't bring Austin down, it just elevated the others. I'm not actually talking about the HBK/Hogan match either as neither of them needed the win, but rather Orton at Summerslam who desperately needed something from Hogan and was given nothing. I'm glad you brought up Andre/Hogan as that was one of the best examples of passing the torch you'll ever see. What Hogan did to Orton was the equivalent of Andre squashing Hogan at WM3 then leaving.

Like I said, I don't think too many people feel he has anything to make excuses for, and those who do probably realise his work has been of a standard (not including this year where he's been stuck with Vince) that he's entitled to a few misdemeanors.

Yeah, except Hogan had fans.

I'd say Hogan passed the torch to Lesnar, and if I was Hogan I wouldnt be feeling like that paid off right about now.

Also!

Austin was packaged as a bad-ass underdog, Hogan was sold as the personification of an unstoppable force; its not the same thing.

But wait, theres more!

I think Shelton Benjamin still has hope ok?!

Hogan was already a star at that point and his star was still rising. I think Orton's career may have stalled right now. I'm not sure what he has in him but he needs to bring something else to the ring for me to care about him. I'm not a fan of his interviews (anymore) and I was never really impressed with his wrestling ability or the story he tells in the ring.

If he was recently suspended for being a jerk and a locker room cancer, did he really deserve a win over Hogan at "the 2nd biggest who of the year"? I do think it would be better if Hogan gave the rub overall, just maybe not to Randy at this point, because he apparently has done nothing to deserve it.

Though Shelton is an incredibly skilled wrestler, he's deadly dull on the microphone. As much as I respect Shelton, I'd rather see Carlito with a championship belt - he's much more interesting on the microphone.

touche Salesman, BUT

I remember Shelton once on the mic when he told Trips "All the kleenex in cant clean that nose!" nice delivery, he did ok on the mic that time.

I just think he tries too much to be like a big personality type like the Rock or something, if he would just be himself... it wouldnt be as awkward.

EDIT: Ty for resizing my sig pic, CRZ or whoever it was... I was gonna try to do it myself but I always screw up with HTML code leaving; me with an error message.
