Hey, thank you Vh1 for giving away the results before the end of the show.

It's NY1's Pat Kiernan! He makes it a must-watch all by himself.

The tiebreaker questions are great.

It was pretty hard for me to identify TV Theme Songs when just reading the lyrics.

Love the show.

Yeah, that thing with the ending got me too, especially since that match was so close. I thought the questions were generally a bit too easy for anything calling itself the "World Series" of pop culture, but I like the team aspect and it was a fun show overall.

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"I'll pull for the Walcott girl..." (Nuclear Winter)

Anyone know if they lifted the format from anywhere else? Doesn't seem like something they could come up with on their own.

And the origin of the Lazer Wolves is, quite well and truly, the truth.

Before I heard their explanation, I thought it was just a reference to the character from Fiddler on the Roof.

It was nice enough, but it kind of bums me out that it has to so flagrantly be the "World Series of Quite Recent Pop Culture". Nothing before the 80s, I don't think. And with the contestants they have, they need it to be that--when they asked about the Paul McCartney/Stevie Wonder duet about racial harmony, the contestants had no idea at all.

I know that everybody's targeting younger demos these days, and questions about Fats Domino aren't going to accomplish that...but I don't have to be thrilled about it.

Just read that he died and I'm really saddened. Always loved the Gary Shandling show, including him driving around the set in his cart and Jeffrey Tambor being "hey now!" guy.
