Oh, how the mighty have fallen. No ECW presence on the card at all. Can RVD be a bigger dope?

It could be that WWE is finally trying to create an identity for ECW that doesn't necessitate their guys showing up on "WWE" programming, which Saturday Night's Main Event definitely counts as.

Kelly is ECW, no?

Kelly being there probably means Mike Knox will show up as well. Otherwise, who knows what Kelly will do? My guess is inexplicably unable to get her panties off.
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.
Relax. There's no reason to think they wouldn't announce Big Show squashing Dreamer or Sabu in Extreme Rules on Tuesday's show. Although, frankly, I'd prefer no ECW if that's the case.
And if there is no ECW match on the show, there can be no finer representative for ECW at SNME than Kelly Kelly.

I dont think announcing Balls Mahoney vs Tommy Dreamer is going to get people to tune in.
Hopefully this match marks the end of the spirit squad. It is played out, plus they are hogging the tag title belts.
I don't want them to end the group; it still has potential as a heel stable, just not when it continually jobbs out to Shawn, Hunter, and Cena. Plus, they have to feud with the Highlanders for the belts.
I mean, take away my fan card if I ever denounce the Evil Trampoline.

For some reason I get the sneaking suspicion that a 5-on-2 elimination match is going to slowly morph into a 5-on-more match and we'll see more DX members added shortly. Who that is, I have no idea. Cena and X-Pac strike me as possible.

I definitely don't see Cena joining DX and doubt that X-Pac will ever return to DX. WWE will probably just keep it as Triple H and Shawn Michaels. I don't think it's going to last much longer anyways. Maybe only until Summerslam.
That's nothing new. The tag title scene has been in the toilet on both shows for quite some time.
I hope Edge keeps the title a little longer this time. I think it would be crap if he had an even shorter title run this time. Then again the main reason he's champ right now is because of RVD's arrest. Edge being champ and not much of a focal point makes me feel this is not a long-term thing.
Shitty, half, maybe quarter-assed recap this week. I really wanted to do a full one, but I've got way, way, way too much work on my plate. There probably won't be anything at all from me next week.
