I was looking to purchase Season 1 on DVD and a friend of mine told me it was only six episodes long. Is that true? i did not start watching until season 2. Is it worth it to get season 1 if it IS only 6 episodes long?
Well, that's just drunk talk! Sweet, beautiful drunk talk....
According to a review here: The Office Season 1 (The W at Amazon) it is only 6 episodes long, but there are deleted scenes. If you are a completist or enjoy the series you may want to get it for under $20 - that's still over 2 hours of comedy for the price of a movie.
I was waiting for the 2nd season to come out to see if they were going to combine them into one (like they ended up doing with Seinfeld).
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.

I'll add that I bought it and think it's easily worth right around three bucks an episode, especially to get in widescreen and ESPECIALLY for the deleted scenes.

Do you get more Kevin reaction shots with the widescreen? Because that would totally sell me on it.
It's not as good moreso because they were reliant on the original series (the first episode is kinda awful, aping the UK's first episode) and hadn't found their voice yet. But it's worth it for the basketball episode and the deleted scenes alone.
*Edited for double usage of the word "moreso", thus making me cringe.

That doesn't sound right. Weren't there 24 episodes, each at about 22 minutes? Shouldn't that be closer to 9 hours, or were there more ads than I remember? (Not counting the Chili's placement...)
Edit: Nevermind. There were 22 episodes, which at 21-22 minutes per episode should make 8 hours once you count the extended finale. That still seems short though.
