(NOTE TO ZED: You should consider adding either a college football thread icon or some for the individual teams, 'cause there wasn't really an appropriate one. A VOMITING smily would've been, though.)
Anyway, OF COURSE they are Oregon's new uniforms. Would YOU wear one of these? Egads.
Also, Washington's coming out with new ones, too. I'm PRETTY SURE they will be sharper than those. My EYES!

The yellow is really the worst one. It might look OK with a whole field full of guys wearing it, but I'm not holding my breath. The far right one looks best and the white is OK. I think the guy on the left is a poor model for the far left (his uni looks too small on him in the arms - I know this is done on purpose during play but it looks bad in the pic).
I don't love them, but I only hate the yellow one. Yay?
Really it's not all that different from what they've been wearing other than the matching helmets. I don't so much dig the highlighter yellow they've been using, but it brings a smile to my face when I get to see them play in it. I have no clue why.
At least they didn't do the one sleeve opposite color with matching undershirt like Florida and Miami and Virginia Tech did cause that's just awful stuff too.
They might be the worst college unis., but the worst football unis have to go to the old Denver Broncos brown-and-mustard unis of the early 60s....

Yes, the mismatched sleeves make baby Jesus cry. Those abortions are worse than anything I've seen on Oregon. That said, recent history proves that it's not such a good idea to be that tight with Nike, especially considering Oregon's color scheme. Is there any context where that yellow is a good idea?
Did Phil Knight have problems with members of the Oregon football team in the 70's and this is his way of getting a level of payback? A dishonorable mention still has to go to Miami for the game where they wore uniforms where they looked like Baylor last season.
I particularly like the expression on the face of the guy in the white uniform. He seems to be expressing his extreme displeasure at this whole process, doesn't he?

Here (uniwatchblog.com) is an article that gives some of Nike's perspective on these uniforms. Apparently, the student atheletes were given input into the designs. And these outfits look exactly like two or three good designs mashed into some sort of compromise concept that wind up leaving nobody happy.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
The extension is more of an organizational thing- the Giants don't like lame-duck coaches. Coughlin is on notice now though. My guess is that anything less than a division title and one playoff win, and he's toast.
