From 1bob:
Sources tell 1Wrestling.com that Scott Hall was released today by the WWE.
Hall was reportedly "wasted" for much of the trip to England over the past weekend and showed up to RAW in much the same condition yesterday although he was improved by airtime.
Hall's release is effective immediately according to our sources.
So the active nWo roster is The Big Show and X-Pac.
I guess he was partying like it was 1999 in merry Ole England...
It wasn't that Long ago that Scott Hall gave the "SHOOT INTERVIEW OF THE YEAR" on WWF err E.com... When Hall was sayin how much of a changed man he was and he is because of his kids and how he doesn't drink yada yada yada and people praised him for his honesty...
Boy the business was built on a CON and these guys can shovel it with the best of them...

Unbe-freakin'-lievable. If this is true, then how the HELL is the WWE going to explain this on the air? There have been plenty of times, such as with the name change last night, that the WWE has simply not spoken of developments on the air, but how can you kick a prominent guy like Scott Hall out of the nWo angle and expect fans not to notice? I mean, one day he's there, the next day he isn't? This is crazy. I guess we can pretty much expect Steiner immediately...or the nWo will be separated...but that wouldn't work because they've just gave Big Show a push as a part of the group. This leaves a lot of holes.

Is there a bigger screw-up in wrestling than Scott Hall? This guy is a contender for the Steve Howe Award for second chances, and he still manages to piss it away. Jake Roberts is the only one that I can think of that even comes close at this stage.
Can't say I'd miss him in the ring though. I just hope he can recover past the point where I won't consider him a candidate for my 2003 Dead Pool list.
"Hello, my name is Philo and welcome to Secrets of the Universe. Today we are going to learn how to make plutonium from common household items."
Pescado, this is rumored, so take it for whatever, but supposedly Hall had nothing to do with this plane stuff, he was (allegedly) passed out the entire time.
Also, hopefully they just get rid of the nWo period. Put Flair and Show together, screw Nash, screw Pac, they both suck anyway.

And I think you're fat. So how do you like me now?
World Wrestling Entertainment senior vice president for talent relations Jim Ross announced today that WWE and Scott Hall have mutually agreed to end their contractual relationship. WWE wishes Hall the best of luck in his future endeavors.
It's unbelievable that people keep pulling the chair out for Hall - and he keeps tripping over it.
Now - who will take a chance on Hall, seeing as he just can't stay away from the drink? The Jarrett PPV enterprise may take a flier on him - based on name recognition - but that's not for certain, given Hall's last performance. Apparently, he couldn't even resist acting the fool when his bosses were but one airplane compartment away from him. He's going to end up like Jake "The Snake" Roberts, working high-school gyms for bottles of Night Train.

P.S. From what I've seen, Michael PS Hayes was also raising hell on the flight, due to his losing his mullet during the European tour. Probably not as big a problem as Hall, given 1) Hayes' lack of such a past and 2) Hayes' less-visible role in WWE's products.

How the hell did he lose his mullet? Did someone attack him and cut it off while he was unconscious? o_O

Just when you think that Hall's finally got his act together, and that there's no way he's going to screw up this time.
Heh. Yet guys like him, and druggies, and drunks keep getting chance after chance in the wrestling business. And a convicted rapist goes for boxing's world heavyweight title. All the while there are guys who've been working their asses off for years who will probably never get close to the big leagues.
This sucks.

Fuck fuck fuck! What a shitty run for Scott. I really thought he was gonna be able to pull it off this time around. Should be interesting how they explain it, too. I'm thinking J.R.'s just gonna come out and say that Hall is no longer with the WW(motherfucking)E on Raw next week. Well, Nash is gonna have to be back as the figurehead of the nWo now. With Flair turned heel, at least it'll make sense when he unsuspends him. The only way the WWF can make this up to me is by:
1.) Getting the F back in and 2.) Bringing Shawn Michaels back as an nWo member
Ooh, and maybe resign Shamrock soon, then I'll be pretty happy.
"You better get his ass outta here before I get up"- Undertaker
For the record, Hall's monumental last words ever on TV were (according to CRZ):
"Hey yo. Lemme get this right, Flair. That's, that's your big news? That's your surprise? Well uh...chico, the NWO has a surprise for YOU - and all of YOU - and it's gonna happen In This Very Ring - and it's gonna change the history of this company...FOREVER."
And his last three "moves" as a WWE wrestler were:
1. Fallaway slam to Bradshaw 2. Receiving the double Stunner with X-Pac from Austin 3. Holding Flair's hands to give leverage to the Figure 4

The easiest way for the WWE to work around this is to have Flair and the Show come out next week and say that they formed an alliance to screw over everyone, including the nWo. Vince can save some cash by firing Nash and X-Pac, too.
I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat?
Kevin Nash interview, don't know if it was mentioned earlier, but 411wrestling.com posted today that after Kevin Nash arrived to RAW late their was a interview segment with Coach/Nash that was edited before it hit the air. Kevin Nash was either really drunk or acting retarded. Goto 411 news for the whole story.
AS for Hall looks like Animal House came to the WWE over the weekend
Man, this just sucks. I was hoping for just one good match out of Hall in this run, and he blows all of his chances. I guess Nash is next then, because Vinnie Mac won't tolerate his "Bring Back Hall" bitching like wCw did.
Man, this is UnFuckingBelievable. Hall is gone for good this time. The only good thing coming out of this is that Vince can stop the bleeding NOW. Cut Nash and put xpac on jakked duty. Give BigShow his job to Austin, get Benoit over to Raw like everyone is talking about, and put Austin and Benoit together pronto.
