Jillian Hall, Paul London, and Brian Kendrick defeated MNM by pinfall when Jillian gave a flying cross body from the top rope to pin Melina.
Kurt angle cut a taped interview promo about how he will beat Mark Henry at Judgement Day
Bobby Lashley squashed (didn't get the name, it was just a jobber) by pinfall after delivering a spear.
Chris Benoit and Gunner Scott beat Booker T and Fit Finlay via pinfall when Scott got the pin on Booker after he was distracted by Bobby Lashley
Mark Henry defeated Matt Hardy by pinfall after delivering a Falling Body Slam. He then cut a promo on Angle and beat Hardy up some more
The Great Kali came out and cut another unintelligible promo on the Undertaker, but did not have a match.
Rey Mysterio took on Kane in the main event. The match came to a no decision after Kane's "voices" caused him to go crazy and he attacked both JBL and Rey. He left the ring and the show ended.

Rey Mysterio beat JBL and Mark Henry after pinning JBL with a 619.

Well, they've got rid of the dueling owners. In storyline terms, Vince owns both shows, but he just doesn't get involved with Smackdown. If I had to come up with a reason, I'd say that JBL contacted Vince and asked him to allow Kane on Smackdown, and Vince agreed to do so. He has no motive to do such a thing, but that's the best I can come up with.
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.
I read a RAW recap which stated that on WWE Unlimited Vince received a call from JBL and they discussed something to which Vince said something to the effect of "Good idea, see ya Friday."
This is likely when the deal went down. I'd presume this will be discussed when the show actually airs on Friday.
HBK: You’re flat broke aren’t you? MJ: Please let me wrestle on RAW! HBK: Fine, but I ain’t wearin’ no fruity tassels. MJ: Are these your mirror pants? HBK: Give me those!
Wow, Matt Hardy. I had forgotten this guy existed. Has he even been on the show since his loss to Booker in the KotR tourney a few weeks back?
Looks like another *yawn* exciting Smackdown. This show was really cooking for the past few months, but it's been just utter crap the last few weeks with all the injuries, Rey being buried, the spectre of another awful JBL title reign hanging over us and the focus on stiffs like Khali and Henry.

And this is to build to the PPV. Eh.

Yeah, it is to "See No Evil" on Friday Night Smackdown! but I haven't had SD! on a friday night in a few weeks due to Nats games on my soon-to-be-former-UPN station.

Geesh, why not just change the channel?
Another thing, how can you call JBL's title reign 'awful' when it was the best, creatively, of the past few years?
JBL's title reign was in no way the best creatively of the past few years. His character may be a roaring success, but the nine-month stretch of cheap finishes and bad matches, booked horribly repetitively (DQ/screwy finish in the first match, JBL gets an underhanded win in the gimmicky follow-up), was anything but. It wasn't JBL's fault, per se-he could only work with what he was given, after all-but that doesn't change the fact that a good six months of his time on top was truly shitty.
To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow

I can't imagine criticizing the last month of Smackdown. With Tivo I can watch Raw in about five to ten minutes. Smackdown there really is nothing (outside of the Great Kali) stuff that I find myself FFwding past.
Rey being booked as the honky tonk Man does suck. But really every week gives me another KOTR qualifying match. And the quality of the KOTR qualifyers this year has been amazing. I can't remember another year where really every qualifying KOTR match has felt like a PPV match. But it really feels like it this year as each qualifyer ,no matter who involved, is given plenty of time.
Finlay is now suddenly announced as hailing from Dublin, Ireland.
Er, this should be Belfast, which is Northern Ireland though the Northern bit was never mentioned. He was known as The Belfast Bruiser in WCW.
They got the wrong flag for weeks now this.
Just another pick from me when it comes to WWE trying to promote or speak about the UK.
William Regal apparently a brawler on Blackpool docks, well the docks are a few miles down the coast in Fleetwood, but hey don't let a technicality get in the way !
Khali's promos continue to be the unintentional comic highlight of the show. I think I actually understood a word this week ("Urnhrhgahgh" means "Undertaker").
Could it be possible that Rey is actually going to retain at Judgement Day? I mean, all of us internet fans "know" that JBL is supposed to win the title, but this feud has been so one-sided that Rey has to win. It would've been like if Vince had squashed Michaels at WM after dominating him for the prior four months; the only logical outcome, storywise, is a happy ending.

It was traditional for Japanese promotions to send young wrestlers to the US to get training and to gain experience without being exposed in front of Japanese fans.
