...the MediaZone webstream of TNA Sacrifice for tonight. Does anyone have any experience with this? Good quality picture and all that? It's also my first ever TNA PPV, and I don't have The Wrestling Channel, so with the exception of when they streamed Impact between FSN and Spike, I have no idea what to expect. Is there anyone in particular I should be looking out for, besides the obvious, of course?
I'm anxious to see the first time match between Petey Williams and Liger. I'm looking forward to it, but I hope it delivers like Joe/Liger never did.
I think AMW/AJ and Daniels will be pretty good. Their past 2 TV matches were well done, so I think they will be able to step it up big time on the PPV setting.
The big tag match will be interesting since this is the first time Joe is doing a non X division match, unless you want to count the Sabu squash last month. TNA's still noticeably protecting older guys like Sting and Steiner in tag matches because I doubt they can carry lengthy singles.
Nowadays I really feel like Joe is the biggest star of the company and the reason to watch TNA.

This raises the question: Is the X Division belt now more substantial in booking than the NWA title? Samoa Joe pinned the 5-time NWA champ while Christian's next opponent, logically, might by Roode.
Also, tnawrestling.com is linking to YouTube to show the end of the Liger match.

For some reason Christian Cage vs. Booby Roode for the NWA Championship just doesn't scream buyrates. Granted, I think it would be a great match. Bobby Roode could very well be a breakout star in TNA. But this is where TNA almost needs a secondary title (a la the IC & U.S. titles) for guys that aren't quite ready for the Heavyweight title & don't fit into the "X division mold".
But for that to occur, TNA would need more than an hour of TNA per week.
Folks, I have to say I think we're overrating two things: (1) Hogan's lack of appeal to the casual fan. and (2) the impact of past nWo antics on what happens now.
