From the Observer (wrestlingobserver.com)

WWE has confirmed today's Hollywood Reporter story that a deal has been made with Comcast Cable to carry the 24/7 service.

A company press release stated the subscription service would be available this summer to the nearly 10 million digital homes under the Comcast umbrella, which includes some penetration into 22 of the 25 largest markets in the country.

Sweet.

Oh crap! Hurry up and finish buying out the rest of the freaking dead Adelphia markets so I can get! Now I have to convince a conservative mother we need Digital. It'll never happen.

Trust me man, I've had Adelphia cable and I've had Comcast cable. You do not want Comcast to buy you out. You just don't.

I learned that Cogeco Cable will offer WWE 24/7 in Quebec pretty soon. I just can't wait.

Now...all we need is Shaw to pick it up. If they do, that's going to inspire me to pick up a digital cable box.

This is what I've been waiting for! I'm super excited and I will pay whatever the cost is for this. I don't even care about changed music and editted matches.

I do hope for 10 bucks a month though, that would work for my budget.

Figures. I'll be getting rid of Comcast soon for Wide Open West, and then this happens.

I keep hearing that it's going to be Comcast getting us. I'm still waiting to see who show's up. Yet I know somebody that works for Comcast somewhere in the US and said there not bad. All we've had is trouble from the cable guys here. I'm crossing my fingers and toes on all fronts.

I've had Comcast for 3 years and never had a problem with them. The C.S. has been excellent every time there's been an issue and the selection of content is awesome.

I'll admit that some of it probably had to do with regional differences in the companies (I had Adelphia when I lived in Ohio, and Comcast when I lived in Florida), but compared to Adelphia I found that Comcast:
a)used inferior equipment
b)had more outages (and trust me, this wasn't just during hurricane season - actually, I don't remember any outages during hurricane season - the weather most of the year was less turbulent in Florida than it was in Ohio. I don't know what the problem with their lines was.
c)provided fewer services
d)charges more for the fewer services they did provide
e)had an absolutely unnavigable digital TV guide, that included commercials in it while you browsed
f)had telephone service reps that were outright rude
g)had field techs that were not only rude, but on several occasions disconnected my cable while doing maintenance in the building (and no, I was not in arrears on my bill).
h)were not able to sort my bill out for several months after I had stopped subscribing to them.

I had Adelphia for one year, and Comcast for two. I never had a single problem with my Adelphia cable, but Comcast was nothing but one long headache.

yeah, I have comcast cable tv and internet... never had a problem with the cable tv, but the internet was consistently dropping. Eventually I called their main office and gave them an angry speech about paying for quality and not getting it blah blah bleh, no problems since then.

Comcast doesn't have room to add MASN to broadcast Nats games, but they have room to add the WWE 24/7?

That's bull.
