Did anyone read the new issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch? The link to order the new issue says "Torch Newsletter #912: Styles's Speech, Backlash Coverage, Angle, ECW Timeline, WCW PPV - VIP Exclusive Features (May 3, 2006)". I havent heard anything from the other main sites reporting this, does Wade Keller actually have a major news story? And if so, what type of WCW PPV card could they actually put together to make people care?

The Torch should be ashamed of themselves for writing such a PWInsider-esque headline. I bet when you read the newsletter and get to the section called "WCW PPV", it says "There was talk of putting on a WCW reunion-type PPV, but the idea was quickly shot down". The End.
And if so, what type of WCW PPV card could they actually put together to make people care?
The Quick Answer: None.
The Slow Answer: Almost everyone who was in WCW that people would be remotely interested in already appear on WWE television on a regular basis. There would be no nostalgia in putting them on a PPV under the WCW banner. The only 2 people I can think of that people MIGHT wanna see again who arent in WWE are Sting and Goldberg. One of them is in TNA and the other probably isnt too keen on signing with WWE again anyway.
Speaking of which, TNA has been looking more and more like a WCW Reunion lately. A week ago, Sting trotted out Luger and Bagwell as his potential tag team partners. Last night, he did the same with Rick Steiner, and then we saw Alex Shelley interview Kevin Nash. It all concerns me a bit, because I like TNA wrestling and don't want to see it go the way of latter-day WCW.
Any WCW Reunion show that does not have Sting vs. Flair for the umpteenth time is bogus anyway.

There was a brief mention of WCW Uncensored in the "Backtrack" section of the newsletter. Mitchell's Memo this week was about the 6:05 reunion, so that also could be what he's talking about.

Did Brian get to steppin' when Dave y Earl got canned? Missed that one, unless WWE isn't anal about their refs.
Brian was let go about a month or so after dad and uncle.
