Online tournament winner? Ha!
I really just don't know anything about half of these people. Looking forward to seeing Jorge Garcia, Bryan Cranston (again), Jenna Fischer (!) and Robin Tunney.
Replacing Kevin with Dave was a step up, but replacing Phil with Phil is about a ZILLION steps down. Still, I remain optimistic that he'll prove me wrong.
I wish I'd won the online tourney 'cause them bitches is FINE (Fred Savage and Doug E. Doug included) but I'm glad the winner will represent San Jose....unless she really sucks, in which case forget I said anything.
Let's see if Bravo's put up a link yet...nope.
Also, they're out of the Palms? I'll miss the opportunity to say MALOOF! over and over
Also (2) the fact that PartyPoker is now their sponsor just makes the show seem even sleazier than before (not that Hellmuth's presence wouldn't reinforce that ;-) )

Very interesting that PartyPoker is the sponsor as Hellmuth is very closely associated with UltimateBet and at one point I believe even had an ownership stake in that company.
Honestly, I can't wait for this season. Hellmuth has potential to just go off on anyone in the room at any given moment. There's a 50/50 chance of him leaving the booth and beating someone with their hole cards. We could see him and Andy Dick in a brawl. Anything is possible now.
They invite Andy Fucking Dick back and yet Sara Rue still gets no love? Booooooooooooooooo.
And Hellmuth as a host? I give it twenty minutes before he gets into a knife fight with Foley.

Actually, I'm quite intrigued by Hellmuth doing color. Either he'll be WAY vanilla (which I can't imagine) or he'll just be RUTHLESS, with would be most likely awesome.
"You know what you need? Some new quotes in your sig. Yeah, I said it." -- DJFrostyFreeze
"How could we possibly appreciate the Mona Lisa if Leonardo had written at the bottom of the canvas: 'The lady is smiling because she is hiding a secret from her lover.' This would shackle the viewer to reality, and I don't want this to happen to 2001." - Stanley Kubrick
Huzzah! Jenna Fischer, the lone bright spot in the otherwise unwatchable Game 4. Seriously, two guys from Mad TV, the world's worst "celebrity" chef, and this generation's Paul Lynde (sans talent)? Oy.
I'm also looking forward to Jamie Bamber being all British.
I don't think Hellmuth is gonna be as vicious as you may expect, unless Bravo specifically asks him to be.
The reason is I've heard him on special online casts for UB, WSOP games, etc. - and he's as vanilla as they get. Unless HE'S the one getting sucked out on, he won't say a damn thing.

"I know, I know you are saying "sure there was some bad calls, but Jake Gyllenhaal obviously dropped too many easy catches and Ang Lee had some horrible clock management at the end of each half!"" (krakken2000)
Gordon doesn't really seem too inclined to talk about it publically. Whenever it comes up on his show on ESPN Radio, it's just a "contract expired" deal. Maybe he's involved in these "future endeavors" I hear so much about in wrestling.
Here are some more thoughts from a demented mind in Central Florida:

She was on with Lauren Graham this morning at 4am - very watchable.....
That episode was one of the few times I've ever wished they'd adapted strip poker rules for the game. However, Sara Rue has lost a lot of weight, and for many (present company included), she looks too thin now. (trails off into endless rant about how Hollywood just can't deal with a female over size 4...)
ObOnTopic: I'm gonna miss Phil Gordon. But glad to hear we finally have a new season.
Why yes, I am both a musician and a lawyer. Thanks for asking. :)
The NY Post (behind the new registration wall; god bless Bug Me Not) is reporting that NBC is getting involved in the negotations between Fox The Studio and Fox The Network over the 5th season of 24.
