We're all made out of TICKY TACKY!!!! But...we all look just the same.

I never understood the meaning of that, but then again, I don't smoke up.

In any case...the song that's been running through my mind these days has been "CALLING YOU" from Blue October. It was originally on the American Wedding song, but every time I've visited a local Safeway...yep...it's on the radio. Not that it's a bad thing...it's a decent song.

They just played this "song" on sports radio here this morning called "Hockey Monkey" by the Zambonis and my ears won't stop bleeding. It is quite possibly the dumbest piece of "music" ever broadcast and I look forward to driving my truck through the station's front door when they play it 500 times during the playoff season.

All the scientists are running around,
Looking for the monkey but he can't be found!
Cuz he's out...playyying hockey with the kids!

God, that song's awful. I was first subjected to it about five years ago from a friend of mine who for whatever reason found it clever and thought he should share.

I feel your pain.

That was hilarious...good to see the people at Wiki have a sense of humour and kept it there.

I'd love to get that theme as a ringtone for my phone.

So I told Pandora to play some Tenacious D. Well, in the past week, the only Tenacious D I've gotten is a song called "Fuck Her Gently" 3 or 4 times. Hearing it that many times in close proximity has put it into my head. Thanks, Pandora.

"Danni California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
How catchy is that song? Wow.

So catchy it also puts the similar sounding Rick Rubin produced "Mary Jane's Last Dance" by Tom Petty in my head.

TOOT TOOT CHUGGA CHUGGA EFF YOU MAYHEM

IJ's into LazyTown now, and we actually had to buy her the CD, so it's all she listens to in the car. It's got kind of a Euro-pop-dance groove and the songs are damn catchy.

LazyTown's popularity, even among those would typically be too old to be watching it (I've had friends OVER 20 telling me to watch it), is starting to scare me. There's just something inherently jarring about the show, and it may just be the Eurodance music. It seems kind of out of place to something you're targeting to young children, even in Iceland.

Back on topic, stuck in my head, right now? "Super-Sprode" by Freezepop.
