I loved the show last night, and not just because they profiled my home state. Paulie got off the line of the night with one word and a great delivery of it: "AIDS?!?!?"

Also, this is the first time I didn't consider getting up to do something during a therapy scene.

Very funny stuff in this episode.

I enjoyed this episode as well. I'm thinking that Finn's story may come back to haunt him - though if he is hurt I'd suspect that Tony would mete punishment in an appropriate manner.

The exchange between the highway worker who found the cell phone and Tony was hilarious. I may have a sophomoric sense of humor, but tonight's episode was one of the funniest "Sopranos" that I can recall.

I agree, funny episode.
Vito goes antiquing.
Throw out the cell phone then have a tree destroy your car in a storm. That's a sign your luck has gone bad.
Now that the strapping young lad Phineas no longer has to fear Vito for his knowledge of his sexuality, he no longer needs to be engaged to Meadow as protection and is looking to find an escape route.
As Carmella's jealousy of Big Pussy's wife success on her own grows, she should remember the time when she saw her giving away free samples at the supermarket. Carmella only wants the easy path, she couldn't survive going the hard way.
Still can't take Doogie Howser's friend seriously as a mobster.
No Janice and very little A.J. That usually leads to good things.

This was a great episode. Vito's on the run, Tony is apparently thinking of letting him go and Sil won't let that happen. My question is who gets to Vito first, one of Tony's guys or Phil.

Rosalie Aprile's reaction shot when Meadow revealed that Finn witnessed Vito's actions killed me. And Pussy's wife is a loan shark now? Talk about weird.

Personally I thought Christopher had some of the better lines of the night: "He can't be a terrorist...He's got a dog."

Christopher's stupidity is killing me. Without Adrianna around it seems he's just gotten dumber. He's opening his mouth when he should keep it shut. I've almost been cringing every time he says something.

There were a couple of funny parts here and there, but I thought this episode was more tense than anything. They've taken Vito, who was a joke at the beginning of this season, and made his life hang in the balance just because he is gay. Every time I saw a scene with him last night I expected someone to come up behind him and whack him. It's an interesting story, to be sure.

Christopher's line about the dog killed me too. I enjoyed how the old school mob boys were struggling with the situation, not sure if they should be PC or just kill the guy. As the rest of society has softened on gays in the last 10 years, I doubt many in that world have. And somehow, I doubt that they will let Vito move away to the gay friendly town and get a job in an antique store. Tony may have softened, but the "he's gotta go" pressure will catch up to him.

Isn't that thing about the dog true? Like ultra-religious Muslims think dogs are dirty animals and shouldn't be kept as pets? I may be pulling this right from my keester, but I remember reading something to that effect once.

It may have come from your keester. I may be wrong, but I thought Christopher meant that no one who had a dog could possible be a terrorist.

I really can't see Tony letting Vito leave, he is a captain. Vito's guy Gene wasn't even allowed to leave.

Maybe he'll mull it over, due to his new outlook on life, but his session with Melfi makes it seem that new outlook is on the way out already.

Yeah, here it is. (Islamonline.net)

In short, dogs can be used as guides, guards, and whatnot, but if you must have one then arrange for "separate living space", and don't keep them as pets because they're filthy beasts that eat their own poop.

That's interesting, good point. For some reason, Chris does not seem like he would know that.

Tony's therapy had me in stitches the entire time, and the childish way he said "HE'S A FAAAAAAAAAAAAAG." Had me on the floor.

Nice to see Tony take care of the driver, especially after he beat him down.

Second me for the not buying the guy from Doogie Howser as a bad ass mobster, but we'll see.

And Sil's reaction when Tony called Vito one of his best earners, a "come from behind" guy was great, subtle, but great nonetheless.

From the moment it was announced, The Office and Earl were named the exceptions to the 8-9pm reality show rule. But this news is awesome! This is what we've been asking and hoping for since two years ago.
