I always thought LoZ would make a pretty good flick, but I don't think that this will be it. It kinda resembles a train wreck. (You know-- "It's so bad that I can't look away!) I would probably watch it if I could find it for free, but I wouldn't spend money on it....
"A study in the Washington Post says that women have better verbal skills than men. I just want to say to the authors of that study: Duh." --Conan O'Brien
Ugh. Could they have found a gayer-looking guy to play Link? Methinks this will draw a "cease and desist" letter from Nintendo (probably followed by production of a Zelda movie, LOL).
Have you ever considered any real freedoms? Freedoms from the opinion of others... even the opinions of yourself?
Oh, I am SO there. I don't care how crappy this looks, and if it is really bad, I can laugh at it. This is phenomenal, and would be even better if they give us a look at the water temple and the Great Tree. I do hope they avoid any mention of Deku nuts though.
Granted it's no Snakes on a Plane, and it does bear some disturbing resemblance to Peasant's Quest (homestarrunner.com), but come on, it's a ZELDA GAME! I remember I was disappointed the first time I saw the trailer at the theatre for the last Zelda game when I realized it wasn't for a movie version of the series.
The important question is: Can this be worse than Super Mario Bros. - The Movie?
If they cast a Zelda movie right and got an actual writer to construct a decent script around the Ocarina Of Time plot, I'd so be there.
To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow
Aren't we all under the assumption that this is just one of those fan-made trailers only? Like the "Grayson" fan trailer that showed up online with that bad-ass looking Joker and cameos out the ass, GL, Flash and all?
Can you imagine someone making an entire MOVIE with a costume that silly?

Strange how much I had been thinking about Christopher Reeve in the past week. I was watching old episodes of Smallville last week, where he had a recurring role(in fact, there will probably need to be some sort of closure relating to his character).
