Besides Palumbo and Test and Shannon Moore coming back, it's been rumored that Mark Jindrak, Johnny the Bull, and Kevin "Mordecai" Fertig are also being offered contracts. Meanwhile we still await Charlie Haas' re-debut, or Jamie Noble ever doing anything, or Jamal attacking Mickie and Trish for their HLA.

Got to see that pic, wellness link, on another board when it was originally announced. The thoughts I agree with from the other board I was on is A: He's been on a lot of juice and B: Mini Batista anyone? Test/Batista fued? Why does saying that scare me? Crap.
Holy crap! When did Ultimate Warrior change his name to "Andrew Martin"?
IF he did that without all the chemicals he's been dissing lately, great for him. If not.... you're looking at the official guinea pig for the wellness program.

I think he just added a middle name and a last name.

Well, Batista was pretty shrunken down and his physique isn't as 'hard' already, because of his injury. Chris Masters OTOH will lose his powers (somewhat) before our very eyes.
I would imagine that they get off the gas or juice so to speak when they are injured and that's what causes them to shrink.
Vince and co. are just going to have to give Davey-boy some more of the high-tech and even more invisible stuff.
But crap...has Test ever been that jacked or juiced up before? I mean God. I remember he was a pretty big guy, but he just looks nasty there.
WWE has enacted this "wellness" program, but are they this desperate to bring back big guys like Test? Why did they fire Test in the first place? Are they unhappy with the smaller workers they are developing in OVW? Why won't they just bring up CM Punk? He's straight-edge.

What's this "will lose" michigas? Masters looks like he's dropped about 15-20 pounds off his frame in the last 4 months. Although the silver needle lining is that Masters moves around the ring more fluidly than he did when he was all yoked up. I didn't say he's gotten good, mind you, just that he moves around a little bit better now.

That goes for everyone though. When wrestlers return from injury, they are usually more defined. It's a simple matter of having more time to work out. When they're on the road four or five days a week, they don't have as much time to work out at local gyms. Case and point: when Rey Mysterio came in, he was RIPPED. Now, he's not defined at all. Masters is the same, although I agree he looks better less chiseled (but there goes his gimmick, as I thought when I saw his entrance this past Monday Raw). When Triple H returned from his hammy injury, same thing - he was ripped beyond belief. I imagine Batista will be incredibly ripped when he returns as well. The guys who pride themselves on having a body to compensate for deficiencies elsewhere seem to follow this pattern. Even Edge was ripped when he returned from his neck injury. But alas, the point has been made.

Is this so they don't go anywhere else and pad another roster or do they just need more lower card fodder?
I wonder if bringing back all these-quasi jobbers in recent months is WWE's way of giving away fewer "big" matches on free television. While I wouldn't want to see the company reverting back to 6 two-minute squash matches an hour, fewer competitive matches wouldn't be a bad thing, so long as it means the big PPV matches.
Plus, a push for someone like (as an example) Chris Masters can be done much better if he has a steady diet of mid-carders to squash, put over his moves, etc. So using Palumbo, Test, Mordecai, Tatanka, whomever in a role like that... probably not a horrible thing.

I think it's more a case that they've brought in a whole class of guys that founder without a title. Conway, the Bashams, Sylvan, Snitsky, Parisi, Cade, Murdoch, Striker, Simon, Dupree, the newly released Rosey, Tomko, the SD cruisers, the Dicks, Morgan, etc.
That's a whole lotta people they either have no confidence in or can't use because of injury (not to mention the loss of main eventers like Batista and Eddie). I'd rather see familiar faces who don't have to work so hard to get crowd reaction than a new guy who treads water as a curtain jerker at best.

Hey! I'm holding out for Johnny Stamboli, too. Test & Mordecai can fuck off, though.
The theory behing bringing these guys back is that with the shrinking physiques, it'd be good to have some natural big men on the roster. Although, using "natural" with Test would make anyone LOL themselves for a good while. Personally, I'd say use the cruisers more, so the shrinking physique guys won't look so shrunken in comparison.
Might there be a connection between Test's return and Stacy (his ex) drifting away from the WWE?
They were an item and used as such in the storylines (she pimped "Testicles" to his chagrin). He gets the neck surgery and is fired. She gets pushed hard as a diva and eventually provides the heel-turn spark for Orton; he RKO'd her to show how determined he was to be The Man). She does the dancing show, scores high, makes comments about not going back. She stays offcamera even after the contest ends, and now Test is among those returning.
Hell, they might even come back together for all we know.

Count me in as one who got a kick out of Mordecai. It was one freaky gimmick. I liked it.
Now, with Test...maybe they just want to shut him up or something. I mean, now that he's back, he won't spew anti-WWE sentiment on his site, right?

If it was David that would be one thing, but Reid Flair was supposed to be the chosen one. He was the one who was supposed to bring back the halcyon days of Flair vs. Steamboat, not slop in the mud with the Hogan's.
