Just read on Meltzer's that the 'Prince of Punk' Shannon Moore was resigned.
On the same note of the Chucky P story, it IS amazing how many mid-carders they've released then re-hired in the post- Attitude era.
Will they re-team him with Hardy? Maybe form a team with the 'Prince of Perversion,' Goldust.
Well, anyway, good move I guess. I like Moore and it tweaks TNA a bit (since Moore was put over Styles and promoted as a legit threat to the top X-division stars.)
On the heels of Raw's drug-testing reference, maybe he's coming in as a heroin-shooting punk to feud with CM Punk's straight edger. Who's the babyface? Probably Moore.

It's almost like they're going back to the old "We've got nothing else for you now/you need more polishing, go get some work in somewhere else & we'll bring you back later if we can" territory days. I guess they can afford to do that now with no WCW around.

Where did you read that? With what Martin has been writing and saying in interviews about the E, I would be suspect that the story is true.
Well, he did work a dark match at Raw. Someone posted pics on the Wrestlecrap board, should be fairly easy to find.
Moore is no big loss to TNA. Moore did go over Styles, but it was a screwy finish and didn't really propel Moore anywhere. He's not involved in any storylines and has mostly been working the pre-shows on PPVs.
It's a little embarrassing (TNA just trademarked "Prince of Punk") but doesn't screw up anything that's currently in the works.
(I've read "rumors" that they were going to use Moore to "babysit" Jeff Hardy when he comes back -- so maybe that plan's screwed up now. But, if they don't bring back Hardy because of this -- no big loss there, either.)

Moore didn't fit with TNA, so I'm actually glad to see him go. And yes, the main reason he was there was to babysit Jeff Hardy, who like it or not is a huge merchandise mover. But why couldn't WWE have taken Jeff Hardy as well??

His feud with Styles (which ended up being a brief footnote in the Styles/Daniels/Joe issue) promoted him as little more than a minor annoyance. I was sure TNA would build that into something more meaningful, but they hadn't gotten there yet.
I assume the punk gimmick will be heavily retooled in WWE, since his entire gimmick in TNA seemed to be making me think "Is that supposed to be that CM Punk guy I've heard so much about?"
I'm just wondering how they plan for Shannon to fit into their new drug testing policy, considering he's about twice as big as the last time they were employing him.

My understanding is that the first drug test they have won't get you in trouble because obviously a lot of wrestler take drugs and it might still be in the system. It's actually the second test that matters. If on the second test they have more drugs in their system than the first test, then that's when they get in trouble.
Shannon isn't that big of a loss like many said, I would've rather Shelley got the feud with AJ.

But the Boogeyman is using his pumphandle slam (aka "the testicle," when used by Mr. Martin)! Maybe they`ll feud, or maybe he'll be the storyline father of Steph's baby!
Or not...but I usually enjoyed his work, so I don't mind seeing him back on my TV (or my Win Media Player on Heat probably).
First they forget to extend their TV contract with ESPN so they're in the dark for months, and then they use a wrestler, don't sign him to a contract, copyright a gimmick name for him, put him over (even though screwy) their supposed "best wrestler," and then lose him...
Well they did sign Steiner though...he's a "great" addition to the roster...

Didn't they talk of bringing back Essa Rios and Haas? Are either of those official?
I hope the Mattitude faction comes back in full force.
Take this for what it is (probably nothing), but a few weeks ago on Raw I had my Closed Captioning on and it randomly read "Charlie Haas" at the beginning of the show. If anybody has a recording of it, you can turn YOUR CC on and see it for yourself.
I don't like this pattern of failed talent being circulated back into the WWE. I wonder if wrestling's talent pool is thinning 15-20 years after the death of the territory system. Even Stone Cold broke in through an old established territory (I think). Now there is no one left.
I just remembered that im absent minded wait i mean i lost my mind, i cant find it.
Pretty good, even though I've got most of those on tape. Too bad you can't save them on your hard drive. The hell's the point of buying one match for 1.49? ...and of course no scratch logo footage.
