While viewing the NBA Dynasty Series Boston Celtics and the 7th Game of the 1981 Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and 76ers (side note: knowing what happened in Game 7 in '82, perhaps Philly would have been better off going to The Boston Strangler Andrew Toney for a last second shot than Bobby Jones trying to throw a half court alley-oop pass to Dr. J.) a rule from the NBA's past needs to be brought back. The good old 3 to make 2 rule when fouled in the act of shooting while the opposition is in the penalty. Considering how poorly free throw shooting is in the NBA, this change would at least deter teams from fouling guys in the act of shooting late in games. Of course, if this rule was still in place a few years ago, Vlade Divac would have had the opportunity to miss even more free throws in costing the Kings a championship.
