To air on Thursday (in Canada) and Friday (in the USA)

Credit: Lordsofpain.net, and PWinsider.com

- Tatanka managed to score a win over Booker T after the Boogeyman came out to distract Booker.

- "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton scored a hard-fought victory over Super Crazy in what was described to be a very good match.

- MNM defeated Matt Hardy & his new tag team partner Road Warrior Animal. After the match, there was a heel turn by Animal, who kicked Matt's ass on the outside, as well as slamming Hardy's knee against the ring post.

- Finlay scored the win over Bobby Lashley via DQ after Finlay started to chuck chairs into the ring and Lashley decided to pick one up and smash Finlay with it. Afterwards, there was an all out brawl between the two. While the match didn't last long, the brawl afterwards was said to be very well done.

- There was a segment involving William Regal making fun of Paul Burchill's new pirate gimmick. This leads to the announcement that Burchill & Regal will face each other one-on-one next week.

- The Undertaker defeated Kurt Angle via DQ after Mark Henry ran in to attack the Undertaker and drive him through the Spanish Announce Table. The match was said to be very good, with the crowd really into it until they went with the lame DQ finish.

Looks like another solid show from SD.

However, it looks like it is setting up for Book/Boogeyman at WM, w/ Boogey probably winning. What a waste of Booker - he builds up this awesome heel character (Book & Sharmell have been the best act in the entire company since his heel turn), and gets rewarded by jobbing to the freakin' Boogeyman. Lame.

To be fair, Spiff, the exact same thing happened to JBL and it didn't seem to hurt his heat any.

I haven't been watching Smackdown as much lately. What happened to move Mark Henry on from Kurt Angle to the Undertaker?? Why is he essentially helping Angle when he was Daivari's revenge against Angle to begin with??

For all of The Undertaker's mystical and supernatural powers, he seemingly chose not to use his greatest power - the ability to transform his originally scheduled (shitty) Wrestle Mania match into something more enticing. Mark Henry. Wow. They had better bust out the greatest entrance of all time for Taker to make this worth it.

Was wondering the same thing...nice to see WWE doesn't pay attention to it's own storylines. If that storyline was 6-8 months ago, it may be forgivable, but Angle-Henry headlined the Royal Rumble no more than 6-8 WEEKS ago.

He went against Taker because Taker humiliated him by giving him the tombstone, one week before No Way Out.

Just some quick live notes:

-Compared to RAW, Smackdown crowd was really less excitable, although their were some good moments.
-People seemed really into the Taker/Angle match and some were really hoping Taker would win the belt. Crowd of course died down once Henry came running out.
-To be, the most over match besides the Taker/Angle one was Finlay/Lashley.
-Plus no Rey or Batista made crowd sad.
-Although I am confused, if I rememebr right, during the Finaly/Lashley match, Finaly threw the chairs in the ring, Lashley icked one up as did Finaly and theyswong at each other, with Lashley hiting hard to make Finaly stagger, so they both used chairs so how did FInaly get the DQ?

Heres an idea that you can use for free, vince:

Mizark and D-lo VS. UT at WM. Heck, make it Mizark, D-lo, and M.O.M vs. UT.

HA HA HA HA!

Didn't know that Taker was that great of a wrestler during his match with Angle.

According to live reports, there were TNA-style chants of "Let's go Angle!" and "Let's go Taker!"

There were dueling "lets go Angle" "lets go Taker" chants.

I remember the crowd popping for HEnry and popping for his dive from one table to the next.

Biggest entrance pop for night was for Matt Hardy. Match got very litte heat as like the Tatanka/Hardy Smackdown match, Matt Hardy spent most of the match on the apron. So Animal works face in peril. Putting less over FIP worker in the face in peril section seems just weird. Melina is really smart second as anytime boring chant starts she'll either scream or show some of her ass and crowd pops. I think this will come off much better on TV but live the stupidity of Animal working face in peril combined with stupidity of Animal turning heel when Mania is in his home town was really overwhelming. Booking made it hard to focus on any of the actual match work.

I'm really curious as to how that match and Orton v. Crazzy will come off on TV as opposed to how they came accross live.

Are they going with each one (Animal and Hardy) picking a tag partner for Wrestlemania or something? Or is Animal just saying "screw it" when it comes to his insurance policy (which last time I knew stated he could only work tag matches)?

I thought it was well known and reported that the policy has ended and he can now do singles matches.

Last night Dawn Marie appeared on my tv for five minutes of so wearing only the sexiest little white bra and panties set. That's a good enough reason for me. Who cares if the storyline sucks? It's a two hour show. There's other stuff as well.
