If you have $25 + applicable taxes, do yourself a favor and go buy "What?", the latest DVD in the WWF Home Video collection. Not only do you get over an hour of Austin-themed propaganda, but you get Austin/Steamboat for the US title at BatB 94. And the 2001 US MOTY in Austin/HHH 2/3 falls in its entirety as well! That, boys and girls, is tons of good stuff.

That video looks pretty damn good. This will probably be the first WWF Home Video I have bought in almost three years.

BucsFan,

Speaking of WWF home videos, if you haven't bought one in awhile I highly recommend WWF Rebellion 2001. You get to see the two matches we didn't see at Vengeance-- Austin defending the WWF Title against The Rock, and Chris Jericho defending the WCW Title against the WCW U.S. Champion, Kurt Angle.

The sound quality is quite poor compared to the other WWF home videos I have, but I don't know if that's a problem with my individual tape or not.

I've seen it, I just didn't BUY it. I'm the kind of guy who will let my sucka friends go buy it, then borrow it from them a week later.

And yes, it is an excellent show.

I got "What?" today and hated it. The only saving graces were the two matches in the extras. Everything else was a recycle from their other videos "Action" and "Funniest Moments." Of course, you have to expect some repetition when you collect every DVD the WWF has made.

I won't go into a long-winded rant about it right now, but if you want a good Austin DVD, get Austin 3:16 uncensored. It has no extras, but the feature presentation is MUCH better, and it's half the price.

My rankings of non-PPV WWF DVDs
-----------------------------------
(TIE) Mick Foley - Hard Knocks & Cheap Pops
(TIE) Best of RAW Vol 1&2
The Rock - The People's Champ
Undertaker - This is My Yard
Austin - 3:16 Uncensored
Rock - Know Your Role
Three Faces of Foley
Divas - Tropical
Rock - Just Bring It
WWF Action!
Before They Were Superstars
Hardy Boyz - Leap of Faith
Austin - Hell Yeah
Lita - Just Feels Right
WHAT?
Undertaker - Phenom
Funniest Moments
Austin v McMahon
Divas in Hedonism
TLC - Tables Ladders Chairs
Eve of Destruction
Best Survivor Series
Best of WM I - XIV

Taker's DVD is sooo much better than Rock's, for the extras alone.

But, Mike... there's just one slight problem. The extras might be better, but all the Taker-centric comment sucks ass. :)

Speak for yourself, dude. ;-) Most of the female wrestling fans I know (many) watch Taker's DVD over and over and over and...you get my drift.

Not for the extras, though he looked mighty fine in black spandex. ;-)

I thought most female wrestling fans were fat teenagers that scream for the Hardlyz. [/sarcasm]

In addition, I guess that gives you and Mike something in common, an attraction to tall men in black spandex!

Will this be released on VHS format, as well?

I don't have a DVD player... yet. =)

I believe it's already out on DVD - the WWF usually releases the VHS and DVD versions at the same time. However, it won't have the extras - meaning no Austin-HHH and no Austin-Steamboat.

Sorry, none of 'em hang with me. ;-) Most of my acquaintances are married women over 25 who appreciate a man with some mileage on him.

Uncensored was the last WWF Video I purchased myself.

You're just being informative. And I agree with you. You can't really watch Punk beat Justin Credible in three minutes and think "oh, so this is the great C.M. Punk, big whoop." He didn't make his reputation doing JTTS squashes.
