Man, you forget what a mild winter it's been in Minnesota until you get up and are greeted with the ARCTIC BLAST. Check the avatar over there. The temperature's supposed to go UP during the day. They're saying we might drop down to -15 before it's all over. Wind chills are like -45 - stupid wind.
We were up around 62F yesterday at 4 PM, in the mid-twenties at midnight...and we also had a few tornado warnings as the front went thru. Look out! Here comes the global warming!

After spending most of my life in Ontario and Alberta, spending the past few months enjoying a BC "winter" has been an experience, to say the least. Needless to say, we enjoy above-Freezing weather, and no snow...but we were hit by an arctic blast last week that had the highs hovering around zero celcius, and that took some getting used to.
Waking up to minus ten first thing in the morning was a shock as well.
It's starting to even out, but good lordy, getting hit with that cold after being away from it for a good part of a year was quite a shock to the system.
