Yeah, I'm not sure why I'm posting this either...but it is what it is.

WWE has come to terms on the release of both John Roselli (Romeo) and Thomas Matera (Antonio) today, February 10,2006. We wish them both the best in all future endeavors.
No real surprise, given their general level in the company, but I'm still bummed. I, for one, actually liked the Heart-throbs, and I though they really could have been a big part of a solid tag team division.
I remember reading a story on wwe.com a few months ago about how hard one of the guys on the team worked to get to WWE, so it's too bad that his chance ended so quickly. They really didn't get much of an opportunity.
THat kind of sucked, they didn't do to much during their tenure. I liked them, but they don't stand out in my mind outside of their crotch thrusts and their hats.
Stick two Indy looking guys with a very Indy gimmick in a division that gets no play and this is what you get. I hope they didn't blow the WWE money because you could see this one from a mile away.
I felt bad for the guys in that they just got thrown out there with no hype, no promotion and seemingly no preparation and SUNK. Granted, they tried. When I saw them at RAW last year, they seemed pretty good. Green, but good.

Their gimmick totally blew, but I am surprised they didn't give them the chance to be repackaged, maybe go back down to OVW and work on something different.
