Dear Friends kind regards I have always wondered why Adam West and Burt Ward never got the opportunity or invite to participate in the WWF/E at all. However yesterday I stumbled across some old footage from 1977 of Adam West appearing in Memphis Wrestling and having a comical interview segment with Jerry Lawler dressed as "Superking". Here is the link......... 1. http://www.youtube.com/w/Batman-meets-Superking?v=03Mg0NFJU30&search=batman The link works perfectly but takes a while to load properly but might start instantly with broadband. Anyway I thought that it was a pretty amusing segment but then again it would be wrong to expect anything else from the legendary Adam West. If you could watch the segment and give me your opinions I'd appreciate it. yours thankfully John
Holy crap Batman! That was awesome. The best parts are the announcer saying "Both of them will be at the car show all this weekend", and " Batman, appreciate you stopping by"
And King saying "he has to get Dr. Frank in there anyway." Of course he could only be referring to THEE Dr. Frank from WCW vs nWo Revenge game for the N64 right...haha

Dear Friends kind regards Thank you for your comments. I am glad you liked the segment as it is legendary. It would have been interesting to see more of Adam West "Batman" in professional wrestling in Memphis and the WWE. Even now West could be a good GM on Raw. I'd like to see Adam West and Burt Ward make an appearence at Wrestlemania 22. yours thankfully John
Used to watch it every Saturday night and goto jackson Tn every Thursday night ot see it live. I not only remember the day that was on I went to the car show the next day and checked out the Batmobile and The Fonz's motorcycle.
Dang I am getting old! Loved seeing it again though!!!
"That costume has been stolen from a friend of mine: Soup. Superman. I call him Soup."
Then he crosses over from DC to Marvel invoking Spider-man (Spidey-baby).
I didn't really "get" Adam West for the longest time. I was always pissed at the TV show (camp factor, ridiculousness) However, as I get older, I appreciate West more and more.
"It's not too late for you. If you changed some of your habits, your methods of wrestling. If you used your right and left hand indicators in your car..." That slays me.
Dear Friends kind regards I'd like to respond to the following people. 2P4E......... Thank you for your kind words if only the administrator could be as kind with his words as you are. CRZ......... Please don't act like a militant Fag by telling me how to post on this forum. It is absolutely contemptable for an administrator of a forum to dictate HOW a person can post. I haven't done anything wrong on this forum since my ban was lifted after two years. By the way the ban was too long and I am one of your upstanding citizens on this forum. I realise that you erred in your judgement and as such I await an apology from you and expect it A.S.A.P. tlmkr38......... Did you meet Adam West and Jerry Lawler at the Car convention in 1977? If you could tell me more about it I'd be most grateful. gater........... I don't think that the 1960's Batman TV show was camp, rather it was comical and slapstick only camp to a degree. "Batman" was a comic book character and the show reflected that thus I cannot understand why certain people dislike Adam West for portraying Batman correctly. If anything the Batman movies turned the character into a a serious adult character and made the movies unsuitable for minors viewing. Don't get me wrong I think that the evolution of Batman was correct for this era but people accuse Adam West of lowering the standard of the Batman character when in fact it was the other way around. The 1960's Batman catered to all audiences and the movies don't do that hence the old 60's Batman was superior as it was rated as universal. By the way even though Adam West is the real Batman there were two Batman movie serials released in 1943 and 1949 and they didn't reflect the 90's or 21st century of Batman. Here is a link about the Batman serials from the 40's. 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_serials I haven't seen the 1940's Batman serials but I am thinking of purchasing them on DVD to see the beginning of Batmans evolution into the character franchise that he has become today. Still I repeat whenever I think of "Batman" I think of Adam West, he is Batman as far as I am concerned and in my mind Batman begins and ends with them. I personally don't know how anyone could dislike Adam West as he is very funny and charismatic guy. I met Adam West a few months ago and got his autograph-he is very laid back, funny, doesn't take himself seriously(an admirable trait in anyone especially a famous person) and all around a decent guy. Packman V2........... Adam West wouldn't have to give up acting or any of his other duties etc-he could make a one off appearence or just be in the WWE for a while for a storyline. Adam West in the WWE = Ratings. yours thankfully John

Dear Galidor kind regards As the creator of an online forum CRZ should know better than to dictate a persons typing style. I am not annoying or offending anyone with my style of posting. Its clearly obvious that Wienerboard lives up to its name and that this forum should have the Pink swastika as its official endorsement trademark. I am still awaiting CRZ's apology and if he refuses and bans me then that will show everyone that just how fascist online forums have become. To ban me simply for my posting style is ridiculous. If I was winding someone up I could at least understand why an administrator takes such a bitter tone but to take a swipe at my posting style is going too far. CRZ should not follow the example of Hyatte from the Insidepulse forum. 1. http://www.insidepulse.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=5364&page=13&view=collapse I deserve a sincere apology from CRZ but failing that he can always merge this forum with Inside pulse and rename it "the fascists forum are us" forum. yours thankfully John
On one hand, giving the nWo a company of their own doesn't seem like a great move. On the other hand - what ELSE are they going to call the second company?
