Just another stellar episode of The Office last night. This show continues to get better and better each week. I never thought it would be half as good as the British version, but I now watch this show without even thinking about the British version.
Scrubs and The Office is running neck and neck for Best Ensemble. All the supporting players in The Office are awesome.

Aside from Michael's shenanigan's all episode, I loved the tribulations of Jim, from constantly looking at the intern while Pam was out to having to endure Kelly's chatter to not being able to chat with Pam. The payoff of him listening to the messages at the end was totally worth it.
Ask me on a Thursday afternoon what my favorite TV show is, and I'll tell you Lost. Ask me again on a Friday afternoon, and I'll tell you the Office.

One of those celebrity gossip show bj-fests that my roommate can't get enough of is begging for the writers to put Jim and Pam together.
I have to agree. What this show needs is a complete abscence of unrequited love and dramatic tension. It worked so well for Sam and Diane, David and Maddie, Niles and Maris, Ross and Rachel, Simon and Simon, Tony and Angela, The Nanny and that English guy...
Morons.
On actual topic, this ep was another slam dunk. This is consistently the best sitcom that a network is at all behind.

HOWEVER, the best possible way to distinquish this show from the British counterpart is to have them get together and deal with the consequences.

And I'm sure they will at some point, because that's what happens when you do more episodes in a year than the British counterpart did in its entire run. But this year's season finale (June wedding date!) isn't the time for that. They's just getting started.
