While I watch Raw and Smackdown, knowing I'm supposed to be ecstatic watching Chris Benoit masterfully out wrestle opponents or watching Kurt Angle prove yet again how he's arguably the best wrestler in the company... why do I get all giddy and warm inside seeing shit like the Boogyman cracking an alarm clock over his head and singing childrens songs or Tyson Tomko comment on Gene Snitsky's back acne?

Having followed wrestling for over 20 years, loving to death when a great Ric Flair match comes on, a great technical match between Dean Melenko and Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle facing the Undertaker and Angle making Taker look like a million bucks... I still find myself pulled into the shit like Snitsky causing Lita to lose her rape birthed child, a tough as nails Tank Abbot dancing to boy-band pop, and as mentioned above... the Boogyman.

Now I see that McMahon's gone and hired a another giant that could almost put Giant Gonzales to shame! Go over to the WWE site and you can find that Torrie Wilson's DOG is displayed on the RAW talent page, with it's own videos! Kane STILL works for the company! What the hell is wrong with me for LIKING all this crap?

Am I the only one?

For some reason, I want to see how low they can go. I loved the Tim White thing, because it was so horrible. The more crap like that, the funnier it gets. There seems to be no end to how terrible their ideas are. And that's fun.

Every wrestling show needs a comedy match to keep things lively. I love the comedy match and it is just as much a skill to wrestle comedy as it is to wrestle a one hour iron man match.

I also love the stupid silly storylines. Some go too far (Katie Vick; Kurt Angle's didain for the troops). But all in all we need the comedy so the other stuff shines brighter as well.

Big Show: Why is he getting the Intercontinental Title shot and not me?
RVD: Ahhh...maybe 'cause you're a tool.
Big Show: Look. I am 7'2". I am 500 pounds. I'm a giant.
RVD: Oh ok. You're a giant tool.

The Boogeyman cracks me up as well, so your definitely not alone. I've only seen him a couple of times on Raw, and he's put me in stitches, making me wind the TIVO back a couple times to get a second and third laugh.

However, I can't get into Vis the Love Machine, especially after he dry humps dudes in the middle of the ring. A little too gay (and I use little loosely) for my taste.

Why the dislike for Kane? He's been one of my main reasons for sticking with Raw for the last couple years.

I've been listening to my gut since I was fourteen. And I've come to the conclusion that, frankly, my guts have shit for brains.

I, too, think it's funnier than hell when The Boogeyman smashes himself in the head with a clock. For that matter, I find it hilarious when Kurt Angle accidentally hits himself in the head with a chair, so I guess I'm just a sucker for slapstick humor and I don't realize it.

Hey now, I do not 'dislike ' Kane. I think he's taken a shitty gimmick and made it into a deeply entertaining character.

But honestly, his first few months as Kane had wrestlecrap written all over it. He was the long lost brother of the Undertaker, who had been in hiding all these years thanks to Paul Bearer... and he had magical powers and super human strength... and he wore a mask and full body outfit to hide his horribly body because it was horribly burned when the Undertaker supposedly burned down thier house!

Come on, I mean REALLY.

I had my way, all we'd ever SEE is voodoo masters, evil foreigners invading our country via a wrestling ring, people throwing lightning at each other and entombing their opponents in flaming coffins, and storylines that result in apparent death.

The second to last episode of the season kicks off with a really good recap of the fallout from Husky Harris' elimination last week. It's almost a shame that the WWE's video production staff's talents are being wasted on professional wrestling.
