For me its either:

1. Who pitched for both the Seattle Pilots AND Mariners?

OR

2. Who was traded from the Yankees to the A's for Felipe Alou, THEN LATER traded from the Yankees to the A's for Matty Alou?

The only one coming to mind was one I thought up for a less-fanatical crowd: This pair of teammates shared nothing, besides a team, name, and position. (Hopefully there's only one answer.)

I don't really know much about baseball, so I'd have to go with the old standby. "What are the 7 ways a player can reach base without getting a hit?"

In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.

The only question I can think about is about an obscure player, who happens to be one of my favorite players, outside of Tom Henke.

The question: What was Rance Mullinik's first name?

I think everyone has few: Mostly on "their" team's stuff. Here's some of mine.

Who pitched Hammerin' Hank's 715th?

In the modern age (since 1901), what team has played in the most cities

What are the 5 oldest (active)stadiums in the Major Leagues?

Walk, hit by pitch, catcher's interference, dropped third strike, fielder's error, fielder's choice, pinch-running.

Only had to look up the last one.

Ok, here's one I got a kick out of:

Who are the first 9 players to win back-to-back MVPs in either the AL or NL AND....what is so interesting about these first 9?

HINT: All of them are pre-Barry Bonds. (That's not the interesting bit of trivia I was referring to, by the way...)

There was exactly one at every position.

My favorite, and one most people do not believe:

When was the last MLB tripleheader played?

Harvey Haddix in 1959, 12 perfect innings (!) against an awesome Milwaukee Braves lineup. That story actually made me cry when I read about it as a kid, how unfair it seemed that he lost.

A similar question: What is widely considered to be the greatest single-game performance in a game by a major league ballplayer?

(Hint: it happened in 1971, and not Reggie shot off the light tower in the All-Star game)

My favorite stumper is name the last team to have four Twenty game winners, and name them.

Monsoon: Ted Arcidi's gonna drop by.
Brain: What a jerk.

Orioles, 1971, palmer, Cueller, McNally, Dobson and Palmer

and the robinson "Brothers" - Baybee - What a TEAM!

and "greatest performance" in 1971 - well, there were so many grea performances that year. Willie Mays filling in for Cepada at 1st and playing a heck of a first along with a couple of doubles and a HR. Any game Brooks Robinson played in. You might say it was Clemente in the 7th game of the WS that year.

Who was the last switch hitter to win the AL MVP?

And the old classic, who holds the record for combined home runs by a pair of brothers?

I love that one. Vida Blue.

Another good one. Hank and Tommie Aaron. I think Tommie hit 13 or so, but Hank picked up the slack with 755.

My question: What was Ernie Shore's main claim to fame?

Babe Ruth walked the first batter of a game and was ejected. Shore came in and picked off the runner (or he was caught stealing, I can't remember which) and retired the following 26 batters for a perfect game.

My favorite: Four men have hit 61 or more home runs in a season. One pitcher has struck out all four. Name that pitcher.

That's easy. He and Ruth combined for a No-No. Ernie relieved him after one batter when the Babe was ejected.

Now, that top one:

Father-Son - most HR
Brothers - Most wins

Those are always good ones. Good catch on Vida - I was thinking Mantle

Never even heard of them. The two players I was thinking of were unrelated, but that would answer it, how I worded it.

I had to think LONG and hard about that one ... However, there's only one pitcher that comes to mind as having been around that long....
