With Hogan on his farewell tour right now do any of you guys think he will give the rub to anyone before he retires for good.

I don't think that Jericho's going to win the match on Smackdown next week so Hogan will probably make it to face the Undertaker at PPV. But Undertaker doesn't need any heat from Hogan...Jericho does.

If Jericho was the one to retire Hogan, a la Foley-HHH, then I think Jericho would finally get the run at the top he deserves.

And that's when you know what the answer to that question is.

I liked Bruce Mitchell's column on the Torch about what would happen if Hogan decided not to job the belt. Funny stuff.

I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat?

That could be the biggest slaughter man has ever seen - literally the entire public trying to jump Hogan for the Title under Hardcore rules.

You guys are acting like Hogan has a torch to pass in the first place. He doesn't! He's a guy that should have retired years ago who just won't go. He reminds me of an unwelcome houseguest who just won't take the hint until you snap, grab them by the throat and toss 'em out through the window.
If the "torch" belongs to anyone now, it belongs to two guys: The Rock and Stone Cold. Stone Cold probably has at least another year before he decides to pass it on, and The Rock is doing the movie thing, so it may be a while before he's even in a match again.
As for Jericho: If they actually ALLOW him to look good, he can go far. Anyone else here want to see Jericho rush the ring with a baseball bat and lay out HHH and Hogan, then snag the belt and pose with it? Heck, when Benoit comes back, book them both as "legend-killers" who go from show to show, creating mayhem and putting guys in the hospital.

"All born equal unless you're Canadian
Then halfway through decay like Uranium
You define what's death-defying
Get the most out of life or at the least die trying
Are you Evil Knievel jumping a train?
Or running with scissors like Frasier Crane?
Have really good times doing really bad things
‘Cause the show ain't over ‘til the fat lady sings
Like Elton John with his candle in the wind
It's hard to blow out a flame as big as him
But we've all got to Wang Chung with the Grim Reaper
Whether you're Einstein whether you're Beaker
Death is certain so it's definitely worth flirtin'
Don't expect a bright light no just curtains
Life is like a penis most people don't know it
But most people suck so they usually blow it"

Hey EastCoast;

In my opinion Hogan has a big torch to pass. He's the undispusted heavy weight champ now for chris sakes. With the nostalga wave he's riding, Hogan is hugely over with the general audience. So if Jericho were put in a program with him say until Summerslam and Jericho got to retire Hogan for good, that would go a long way to establishing Jericho as a heel not to fuck with.

And that's when you know what the answer to that question is.

Didn't Hogan already put Rock over (not that the Rock needed that or anything), or did I just imagine that? I figure Hogan will drop the belt to someone, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for Jericho.

I agree that if Old Baldy, the Orange one has EVER "Passed the Torch", it was to the Rock. Now, if you really mean, who would put him into retirement, ala HGH-Foley, I would say that the day we see that is the day Satan has to go get a parka. A real big-assed thick one, at that...
Oh, and some thick gloves and a stocking cap, as well...
