OK, first of all, "'The Modern Day Warrior' Rob Adonis" is as unimaginative a wrestling moniker as it gets, stealing from both Kerry Von Erich (dead, but STILL the Modern Day Warrior) and Adrian Adonis.
Secondly, this guy:
is NOT Too Sexy Brian Christopher, is it?

Wow......he sure looks like his old man these days.
It says on the website that he "turned pro" in 2004. So it's someone just taking the name. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy's just trying to pay homage to Jerry Lawler, not realizing that Lawler's kid has used that name in the past.
There's so many to choose from, and I was going to go with "God's Property" Billy Jack (you gotta love a guy whose finishing move is called "It Is Finished")...but my personal favorite?
DA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA DA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA BATMAN...
BATMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!
Name: Batman – “Zero” Hometown: Atlanta, GA Height: 5’11 Weight: 215 lbs Born: 1986 Year Became Pro: 2005 Finishing Move: Top Rope Spinning Closeline Trainer: Rob Adonis
Gotta watch out for those top-rope spinning CLOSElines.
Ah, well. It's a worthy cause I guess. But...Batman? Really? His in-ring name is Batman? *shrug* Alrighty then.
Deputy Marshall beat me to the Batman thing. Damn. But how about...
"Mr. Mardi Gras" J-LO
1.) What self-respecting guy would take the nickname "J-LO"? 2.) I know you can't totally tell from the picture, but just looking at his hair, i'm imagining a mullet or rattail in the back.
I like how you can see part of the timestamp too in some of the picutres.
Petey Williams and Frankie Kazarian having a moment before their tag match.
When I first saw this thread, I though it was about Christian's new angle in TNA, or something to that effect. Silly me.
But anyway...

I believe you do see some so-called "rip off" characters in smaller independants. A few years ago the local access cable channel in my town was showing some wrestling at the area's K of C hall. One of the wrestlers went by the name of "Dark Vader" and he was dressed up like Kane.

Yep. Some of it anyway.
So I poked through some Indy sites
Chaotic Wrestling includes "Hurricane" John Walters. (BTW, that's where Christopher Nowinski is, so I wonder why he's not part of the Intellectual Properties heel stable?)
Azteca Pro has "the Hitman", "Rian Idol"
ECCW has "dropkick Murphy" who plays a John Cena characer, "Disco Fury", "ladies Choice" (Jeff Jarrett)
North American Championship Wrestling has "Nobleman" Lord Everette Devore,
Deep South has Black Jack - another Cena send-up.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
