Adoptee. So I only know what they told my parents. My parents told me Seoul, South Korea. For some reason, I don't know if that is even remotely true, or something they made up for my parents. [sigh] I only know bits and pieces and even the little bit I was told could be bullshit.

I need to go back someday.... Just to sightsee at least.

Where in Scarborough? I spent 10 years there.

Centenary Hospital. Strange, because my parents lived in North York at the time.
hahaha...I went to school down the road from there.

I agree with the MEAN STREETS area. Neilson and Ellesmere ain't exactly safe cruising. Too many accidents in that vicinity.

Hope none of you guys lived too close to Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo.

I myself was born and grew up in Monroeville, Pennsylvania (about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh).

you'll love it. I have been there many times including living there for a year. You must go to the Myong Dong shopping area - it's just amazing. And you must go to the Gates - they are beautiful reminders of what Korea's culture is and used to be. It's just a great "large" city.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I can't believe we got this far, on this thread, on this message board - without anyone saying "Parts Unknown".

Highland Park, IL is what it says on my birth certificate.

Then again, I'm also an adoptee, and through an agency. Never told a thing. Hope there aren't any hereditary issues that run in my birth family.

Besides the obvious insanity.
