I buy flavoured cigarettes that I can buy in single tubes. I can't recall the names of them, but they come in Vanilla, Chocolate, cherry, and raspberry varieties.

"Brand of Cigarette" isn't a question, technically. Tsk tsk.

Back when I smoked (been done with that some 25 years, I guess), it was Marlboro red hard packs.

Back when I did regularly, Camel Lights. Now that I'm on socially, but only when the girlfriend isn't around, Nat Sherman cloves. I can't afford to smoke more often than that anyways.

(snicker) Uh, no - even after 25 yrs, I think there's some residual, so maybe the (very slightly) smarter man.

Quit 5 years ago. But it was Luckies or Old Golds. I've often been told I'm an 80-year old trapped in a 30-year old's body.

Walmart's - Nicotine Transdermal System Patch, Step 1.

I've tried everything else. Pills, gum, fake cigs & cold turkey. Nothing ever worked. This time things should be different.

At 32 years old (pushing 33) I'm feeling the impacts that smoking has done to my mind and body. For the last 17 years I couldn't do anything without smoking. Now I can't do anything because of smoking.

Well it's not that extreme, but Damn! Even kicking a soccer ball with my 2 year old for ten minutes drains me. Lets not even talk about how I feel after two flights of stairs!

I'm feeling pretty confident this go around though. Previously with all other attempts I was really depending on the smoking cessation to do the hard work. This time I really want to quit. I'm just tired of feeling the way that I do.

There is no doubt in my mind about the challenge I'm facing right now. It's still going to be difficult. However, I am better equipped mentally to deal with my situation. I'm just done smoking.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread. However the thread is long sense dead (even if a One Question Topic) and I thought it would be a good idea to mention the other side of the smoking spectrum.

Haven't smoked in almost thirty years; but when I did:

Began with Salem, because that's what my dad smoked. Then Kools for awhile before switching to Newport.

Stayed with Newport for several years; then lost the flavor for menthol. Smoked Merit for a time; switched to Lark, but they could be tough to find at times, so I would buy Merit if I couldn't find them. Anyway, Lark was my brand at the time that I quit.

since this was 12 years ago - wonder if anyone has stopped or started back up since. I am still smoke free.

Quit 18 years ago when my wife was pregnant with our first. Parliament was my cigarette of choice.

Have not gone back but miss it badly. I loved smoking. More than drinking. If I did not have kids I would still be smoking.
