(Apologies if this question has been previously asked)

My favorite barbecue sauce by far is "Jack Daniels Original Barbecue Sauce".

"KC Barbecue Sauce" comes in a very close second.

Stubbs. No other bottled sauce is close. He has a restaurant in Austin.

Show Me BBQ Sauce. Only available in the Middle of Missouri, made in a basement and just better then any of your pansy sauces. But aside from that, I agree homemade is the only way to go, made with a good microbrewery dark beer.

A strict constructionist interprets the Constitution according to the language and original intent of the text at the time of its writing, in much the same way as a fundamentalist views the Bible. Fortunately, for strict constructionists, they have been endowed by God with the superhuman gift of being able to read the minds of people who died 200 years ago. Naturally, they use this power only for good -

Homemade - every batch I make is different - it just depends on what ingredients I have on hand. I can't remember the last time I actually bought a bottle of BBQ sauce.

There is this local joint in north Phoenix called KC Lovejoy's and hot damn! do they make a mighty fine sauce (back me up, fellow Valley W's). In fact, I hadn't eaten from there in probably a year, and just got that stuff while watching college football this past Saturday.

I stick to the Lovejoy's original.

Same here, but only their "regular" one. The others taste odd to me.

Dinosaur BBQ. Got hooked on it in college and thankfully they decided to sell it in supermarkets.

I second that. It's the only sauce that goes on the burgers I buy there. No ketchup, no mayo, no mustard...BBQ sauce.

Second goes to JR's sauce. I liked that stuff.

Sweet Baby Ray's, 'cuz I get bottle after bottle free after double/triple coupons. Free beats homemade, and the pineapple juice Ray uses is something I just can't match. I have about a dozen bottles in the basement, that's after I gave a couple dozen bottles to the local food pantry.

JR's is pretty darned good, but better on ribs or pork chops than chicken.

I'll try anything I get for under a quarter after coupons, and will just as happily do without any sauce, but rub in salt& pepper, or splash a little Soy Vey Teriaki on it.

I've also become fond of marinating in Caesar Salad dressing.

They used to sell it on WWE Shopzone but I can't find it now.

I am curious as well as to how good it is or isn't.

They used to sell JR's sauce at Zellers stores in Canada. Bought a bottle once. It was actually pretty good, not that I know the slightest thing about authentic BBQ.

I normally just buy the Kraft Chick'n'rib sauce, or maybe Bullseye. Nothing too exciting.
