The Sylvester Stallone movie Demolition Man was on tv a few weeks ago, and I could've sworn I saw something freaky that's stayed in the back of my mind ever since.

During one scene, a computer screen is shown with a list of cryo-prisoners' names on it. I'm not sure what scene; maybe it was just after Wesley Snipes kills some people to escape the prison. Anyway, I thought I saw this name on the list of cryo-prisoners:

SCOTT PETERSON

Can any W confirm this? If it wasn't there, then I'm high or blind, but if it was, then whoa, that is weird.

I think that has to be coincidence, having seen the movie myself back on HBO.

Interesting. Check out the very last sentence of its Wikipedia article.

Haven't seen the movie before, but between that, the Taco Bell thing, and the Arnold Schwarzenegger Presidential Library, I'm definitely givin' this movie a look-see when I get the chance.

I'm siding with coincidence, as that's a fairly generic name. That it was the same spelling's just dumb luck.

What's the other option besides coincidence? That the writer actually went into the future and came back with the name of a famous convict to subtly place in his script?

What, didn't you know the screenwriters on this movie were Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and Miss Cleo?

There's reference to it at http://urbanlegends.about.com/b/a/119925.htm , so you didn't imagine it.

Uh, no. Maybe the writer was friends with a Scott Peterson, or something. Maybe THE Scott Peterson. If so, then it's kind of freaky.

Or... said writer wanted to kill some lady someday, and started his targeting with the intent to frame this Peterson fellow for his patsy.

Anyway, Demolition Man is a very overlooked film in my estimation, and in my estimation the best Stallone film without "Rocky" in the title. (Talk about damning something with faint praise)

There's actually a pretty smart little movie in there beneath the then-mandatory Stallone posturing.

In my opinion, Demolition Man is probably Snipes best work.

I readily agree with both statements.

I think it depends on what you want out of a show once its season ends. I recently binged Devs, and I really like its ending. I won’t spoil too much about Upload, but I felt its ending didn’t try to give too many answers.
