Someone asks a question about 'Disc 2' of the Warrior DVD. Am I just an idiot, because I've found nothing about a second disc?
Anyway, my point is: Ross just answered the question and didn't correct anything. I can't say that I'm shocked that he hasn't seen the DVD, but Jesus, none of the WWE.com staffers have either?
Makes me wish there was a "Warrior Calamaties" section, though.

Also, that clip where Warrior slams Andre out of nowhere and the Giant purposely fucks up the big splash rocks.

I read somewhere that if you buy the DVD at [name of store escapes me right now], you get a free 2nd DVD with some added extras on it.

I wondered about that! Warrior has Andre in a bear hug, then camera zooms in on the 2 of them standing there, and you can clearly see Warrior talking to him, then Warrior scoops him up & slams him out of nowhere, but the camera never moves back out to a wide shot so we can actually see it. The crowd goes nuts. Warrior runs back & forth over Andre (who is still laying on the floor) twice then goes for the splash on the 3rd pass. The first time, it looks like Andre tried to take a swing at UW as he was hopping over. The second time, Andre sticks his leg up like he's trying to kick UW in the face. Then when UW goes for the splash, Andre tried to roll over/out of the way and UW lands on Andre's side and looks visibly hurt. 2 things stood out to me during that sequence:
1: Why didnt they change camera angles so we could actually see the slam? They made such a hige deal out of Hogan doing it in 87, you'd think they would do something similar for this match in 88.
2: I had no idea what the hell was going on with Andre sticking his arm & leg up at Warrior dorung his running back & forth, then rolling out of the way of the splash. At the time, I thought maybe the slam hurt Andre (considering how broken down Andre was supposed to have been at this time), so Andre was trying to keep UW from jumping on him.
But now that you mention it, that slam did kind of come out of nowhere, and it appeared to me that Andre helped the slam go through. But they did show that clip during a segment on the DVD where they were covering Andre's dislike of UW. Heenan told another "UW did something Andre didnt like in the ring, so Andre taught him a lesson" story with no footage of the actual event to back it up. I wonder why they didnt have anyone tell the story behind the footage they DID have of this type of thing happening?

FYE. You get three matches and that's it:
UW vs. Hercules (MSG 4/25/88 - rematch from WrestleMania IV?) UW vs. Sgt. Slaughter (SNME #29, Omaha, 4/15/91) UW vs. Randy Savage (SummerSlam '92, Wembley, 8/19/92, WWF Championship)
I'm hoping the torrent shows up sooner or later 'cause there's no FYE close by me and I luuuuuuuuuv that UW/Savage match (FOUR STARS!!!!)
There are plenty of people in the industry that are douchebags, egomaniacs and weirdos but there really is no comparison, he is the Ultimate Douchebag- Like Hogan'sMyDad and others point out; the guy thinks waaaay too much of himself, points out people's egos while toting his in-ring persona as a godlike figure and greatest draw of all time.
And that Fishing in New Orleans crack is funny in a "this guy deserves to get kicked in the nuts" kind of way.
The worst thing about the "Fishing in New Orleans" crack is that it's not even original. The photo was originally done with Bush Sr. & Jr. and sent around the internet weeks ago.
Then again, none of Warrior's insults in the rant are original either. Deliverance jokes? Sheesh, like that hasn't been done to death in the past thirty years. Fart jokes? What, is he twelve and just got his first dirty-jokes book?
Can't say much about the subject that hasn't already been said, but I will chime in with this: I laughed aloud at Warrior's cracks about Bobby Heenan. Not in a "Yeah get that decayed husk of a human being, Warrior!", but more of a "Holy shit. Insane or not, that took balls." He's edging into the New Jack "I hope someone runs over your kids" level of insanity.
Keep on talkin' that shit, Warrior!
I wish I could respect the law. I can't. The law is a whore who demands payment up front, and then attempts to evade providing the service paid for.
"The day Bradshaw rubs soap on my ass will be his last."
Obviously Jamal and Rosie can't really be "punished" for the stiff kick right now (because they are in the midst of a big push), but I wonder if they will suffer later, especially if Jenny "Looney" Lane does decide to sue.
