I can't say I'm thrilled with Jarrett v. Nash as the main-event. However, looking at the rest of the card, I should be getting 3 solid hours of kick ass matches. If that's the case, then I'll gladly put up with the last half hour being the shits (although, to be fair, Jarrett/Nash from Against All Odds was quite good).
This is looking to be one of the greatest PPVs of all time. YAY TNA~!

Originally posted by The Vile1I do find it a little funny that WWE announces the same type of match two days after TNA does. Just funny, that's all. It makes sense though seeing as to how much trouble WWE has filling up 2 hours nowadays let alone THREE.
Maybe they found it equally funny, given that all mention of the HBK vs Angle match has now vanished from the site once more. They've either scrapped it, or decided to make a bigger deal over setting it up - possibly on tomorrow night's show.

Ok, THAT would be pretty damn cool.
Liger Vs. Samoa Joe should give all the workrate guys something to cream about, the same with the Ultimate X match AND the Styles/Daniels match, all making this a workrate dream come true.
The Monster's Ball match will get the goofiness factor aout of the way and Jarrett/Nash will bring in the casual viewers.
What more do you need to load this card. This is turning out to be yet another must see show from TNA.
Now, all they need are people to watch the show and order the PPV.
Nash vs Jarrett in a title program heading into the first week of Impact? I'm begging either WWE or TNA to get their head out of their ass so I can watch some half decent (free) wrestling.
I know that the NWA Title stuff might never be as appealing as the X division and other lower card programs, but I can't watch this warmed over crap. I'm still looking forward to the first episode on Spike TV, but it seems like everytime TNA takes a step or two forward they run fifty steps in the opposite direction to piss everyone off.
Sorry until I see it on TNA television I'm going to call bullshit on the main event world title program for Bound For Glory being Nash vs. Jarrett. Other reports say the main event will be a 10 man tag. So they are conflicting. And just about every "REPUTABLE" wrestling news internet site or newsletter said Matt Bentley was DONE with TNA and was leaving. Which we know was bullshit.
Bentley was done with TNA. He left. WWE didn't want him. He came back.

I know it's been a while but better late than never. For those of you who have been visiting my site, thank you. I really appreciate the support of everyone. A lot has been happening since the last time I posted a commentary so I will try and fill everyone in on whats been going on.
First off the rumor mill has been running rampant lately about why Matt Bentley did not re-sign with TNA and that I was heading up North. Whenever you read something on the internet it is kind of like reading the National Enquirer. Until you heard it straight from the source, don't believe it. TNA and myself never parted ways in any way, shape or form. My contract with TNA was not up until September 17th so there was no way that I could contact any other competitor of TNA until my contract expired. TNA and myself were in negotiations the whole time leading up to my return, so it was never really an issue of me leaving TNA, it was just doing the right thing and trying to get what I wanted, that's all. So for future reference, never believe what you read until you read it hear on my site.
According to Bentley his contract wasn't even up until well after Unbreakable. So get your facts straight next time.

Well you can call bullshit for a whole two days until the first taping, but being that Dave Meltzer and Mike Tenay are best buds ...

Were you expecting him to say on his official website that the only reason he's back with TNA is because WWE didn't want him, even if that were the case? It's not like it's out of the realm of possibility that a wrestler would use his website to work his fans.

Who is saying it's going to be a 10 man tag? And who else is a reputable news source besides Dave Meltzer? As far as I am concerned, none of the other "wrestling journalists" have a tenth of the credibility that he does.
I think the Nash/Jarrett rumor is more likely than 10 man, I'm sure they could come up with enough people, maybe Jarrett/AMW/Kip/Monty vs. Raven/Dudleys/Nash/Hoyt. But I doubt they would use that much talent on just one match when they could have two or three matches instead and 10 man tags usually aren't very good.
Personally, I've seen very little of TNA, but i've been frothing at the mouth waiting for this to happen. I'm so sick of the crap the WWE has been showing lately, I can't wait to see TNA on Spike TV. I have seen the Octagon Ring, and I cant wait to see how that works, but i've heard nothing but good things about this promotion and I cannot wait to see it debut on spike so I have an alternative to watch every week.

Personally, I like the hexagonal ring. It's something different and I think it has a cool look to it. However, I know several people who hate it and thinks it looks bush-leauge. Either way, though, after a few viewings of TNA you probably won't even notice it anymore.

I had problems with the six sided ring at first. Then I actually sat down and watched some of the matches.
The six-sided ring is one of TNA's coolest and unique aspects that they need to promote. They are the only North American promotion that really uses it, though I think there is one new indy that popped up in SoCal that's using the six-sided ring.
