Originally posted by Freeway420Well, the major RAW angle since the Draft Lottery has been "Bischoff Don't Like Cena, Fool!", so expanding the Bischoff/Jericho/Angle/Snitsky/Carlito/Masters/Tomko vs. Cena superfeud to include Edge would make a lot of sense in the larger scheme of things. Plus, for them to do the traditional Face Chasing The Gold storyline for Cena heading into WrestleMania 22, Cena has to lose the belt in a way that makes it seem that he still deserves to hold it. So I can see Bischoff changing the booking of his match to be No DQ, No Countout, etc just to facilitate a massive heel beatdown.
I think you're missing what would be the biggest part of this angle if they carried it out like you say: Vince McMahon putting his company's #1 title on Eric Bischoff. I would pay money to see that just for the absurdity of it.
I actually saw the main event as them putting over Big Show and Matt Hardy in a big way. Hardy, moreso on the commentary and pre-match interview, and Show moreso by his actions, but still... nice change for a show normally dominated by the same three or four people.
Are the interview guys SO interchangeable that TWO posters here can't tell the difference between Josh Matthews and Todd Grisham (despite them being on separate brands)?

I think Snitsky doing the job would have been far too predictable. Besides, I don't think being pinned beneath four guys really makes Edge look bad. That's probably the most protected pinfall loss ever.

Josh Matthews actually knows something about wrestling.
