I recently got a new Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard combo, and everything works fine, except it's not letting me click down on the scroll wheel to open links in new tabs, and it's kinda frustrating.

I had a similar problem, too. I had to actually alter the settings in my mouse control panel. I had to make my wheel button "middle click" instead of "next window". For some reason, the middle mouse button isn't defaulted for middle click with initial setup.
