I really feel bad for Chavo. Stuck in a dead-end, bullshit, and demeaning gimmick. Something devised by the WWE UN-creative team. Its not going anywhere, and he's not even wrestling anymore. Pathetic.

Its things like Kerwin White which remind me of Beaver Cleavage.

The Angle/Shelton match tonight was awesome? Why couldn't we have gotten THAT match on PPV instead of wasting Kurt Angle's time with Eugene. Along with wasting our time with JBL/Batista, Jordan/Benoit, and Edge/Matt Hardy?

Am I the only one baffled that they FORGOT THAT THEY CAN'T TRADE ANYBODY? The end of June (End of the Draft Lottery) was supposed to be the 2005 trade deadline.

Fuck, it'd surprise me if anybody working at WWE actually paid attention to their programming from week to week.

They never said that. All they said was that the GMs had until midnight of the final Draft Lottery show to make trades. That implies an ensuing period where no trades could be made, but at no point did they say it would last until the 2006 Draft Lottery, or that it would last all year, or that it would even last all summer.

I'm all for crapping on WWE for failing to spell these things out, but I hate it when people crap on them for not adhering to backstory they never established. "And what's Big Show doing on Raw? Don't they remember when Eric Bischoff cast a magic spell that prevents anyone over 500 pounds from entering the enchanted Raw ring? It's like the writers are too lazy to remember the stuff I made up five minutes ago!"

I think Vince Mcmahon was asked about storyline inaccuracies a couple years ago in an interview, and he replied that WWE expects it's fans to give them creative liberties, since it provides for more entertaining possibilities and match ups. Besides, the target audience doesnt care and they are trained to forget. We're pretty much the only ones who think it's bullshit.

Oh, good. They haven't already done enough to make the tag belts seem completely irrelevant, so let's kill off the "Super Stacy" gimmick, which wasn't exactly earthshattering but at least ensured a decent pop.

But, hey, we kicked off a racism angle AND a rape angle tonight, so I guess the creative team has things in good hands. Or not.

i wanted to add that I liked the Cade/Murdoch promo. I bet some guy who needs to complain is going to spend all their time talking about how Murdoch is going to rape everyone, or make Godwinn/Smoking Gunns jokes. but I just plain like it already because Cade seems like he can talk and has a good smile (and was a decent tag wrestler with Jindrak), and Murdoch just doesnt look like anyone else out there right now.

People like Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard would have never made it in todays wrestleverse because they look like regular people. Murdoch is the first person to come along in FOREVER that seems like he's from a different time, and so I welcome him aboard. Whether he's a jobber or only occasionally on TV, I'm just glad to see a different look.

Geez, who did Vince get to fool Matt Hardy into thinking he was going to get some sort of push? The really sad thing is, as soon as Matt came out, I thought "Oh crap, what lower-card heel are they trying to push hard right now? Masters already has a program....oh crap, Matt's gonna job to Rob Conway..." And no sooner than I said that to my roommate, o/~ Just look at me... o/~

I love V1, but it's hard to feel too bad for him, he HAD to know this was coming, Especially knowing that Johnny Ace never liked him in the first place....

The question here is: what in the history of Matt Hardy and the WWE leads you to believe that what you're suggesting is a likely scenario? The WWE has never shown interest in pushing Matt, why is it jumping the gun to think that they haven't changed their mind when they've shown every indication that that is the case?

Also, when has the WWE ever preceded a push for someone by having them lose a lot? That really isn't their style.

HHH and JBL have been on top of their respective shows for a long time. It's fun to see the guy on top of the world get taken down. But how long has it been since Jericho's been on top? How is it entertaining to see someone who's already down get taken down even further? Eventually it just gets depressing.

This is the best feud Jericho has been a part of in years.

The Angle/Shelton match should have had at least a little build up to it.

Just when I thought the writers hit bottom with their recent characters and gimmicks, I see the Cade/Murdoch promo for their new tag team. Looking at Cade in that promo with his fruity looking cowboy hat, he looks like he should be tagging with Conway. And Murdoch looks like he should be tagging with Larry the Cable Guy.

My god, you could hear the air being sucked out of the arena when Conway was announced as Hardy's opponent. There seemed to be dead silence as Conway walked to the ring. It was as if all the fans immediately now realized that Matt's "push" is now officially doomed.

Mark me down also as not liking Jericho's emotional breakdown at the end of Raw. When Bischoff told him he was fired, I was expecting Jericho to get right up into Bischoff's face and say: "You can't fire me.....I QUIT !!!".

What the hell happened with the Masters/Big Show feud ???

What happened to THE BOOGEYMAN ? (Not that I'm complaining)

I liked Jericho's breakdown at the end...but not when he audibly told the security guy to "pick me up" as they went up the ramp. :)

He hyperextended his knees in a house-show match with Stevie.

I liked tonight's show a lot.

Masters and Michaels only bugs me because of the prospect that a newer face won't be elevated if Shawn is the one to break the hold. But then, I'm also rooting for Shawn to take over as RAW GM. But RAW needs main-event faces (there's Michaels and Cena, and Kane is MIA).

I already am rooting for Cade-Murdoch. An old-school Southern tag team. I think we'll have to hose down DEAN when he hears of this. It's genius to package someone in the Get Ir Done/Big & Cash styles.

While I don't like the inclusion of yet another new diva getting clobbered by the old ones to set up a wow-she-has-TWO-moves wrestling spectacle, at least the Torrie/Candace tandem works off continuity. Candace lost the diva search the first time, and Torrie has turned heel after getting turfed by a newer girl on SD. And if this brings in Trish as a face, datscool.

Shelton needs to turn or finally win. I don't like the simultaneous burial alongside Matt. Matt, by the way, is doing everything he can to make Edge the cool one. I think I'm officially won over to the Edge Army.

I think Carlito/Flair could be hysterical and entertaining. I'm all for this.

And Jericho did a fantastic job last night, outperforming Cena on every level. I am fully entrenched in Team Angle for this new feud. Angle is simply bad-ass.

I hated the end of Jericho/Cena. Man...I know it's a storyline, but Y2J deserves much, much better than that. Just for that, I might buy a Fozzy CD, even though they're not really my kind of music.

Jericho better be up for a title run when he gets back.

Speaking of exorcisms, when are we going to have one to cast out the idiots who think up shit like:

*the whole Kerwin White gimmick, especially last night's promo

*"Deliverance 2005", with Larry the Cable Guy (is Murdoch's finisher gonna be called 'Git 'R Done'?)

*Gene Snitsky, foot fetish-ist extraordinaire!!

Of course, considering the fact they already rehired the one demon they cast out a few months ago....No wonder we're cursed with the never ending love triangle!! Guess there's something to that whole biblical thing about not getting rid of the demon properly the first time means it comes back seven times worse than the first go-round!!

If only it hadn't been too soon for a heel turn after the main event. To have Cena and Uncle Eric watch Jericho being carted up the ramp. "Slowly, they turn...." Broad smiles and a big hug, as it's revealed that Cena and Bischoff were in cahoots to get rid of Y2J all along. THEN let Angle come in, cut a brief promo on Cena, stating that he's the new #1 contender. I think Angle could use a face turn; he's been gettin' some cheers in recent weeks.

I agree that Cena as heel and Angel as face is probably the natural way to book this (and given the last few weeks, will probably be the way that the crowd reacts to them when they do match up) but I think the biggest problem with turning Cena heel right now is that he sells too much merchandise.
