I knew Tiger wouldn't win! (ohmygodhewasonlytwoshotsbackIcan'tbelievethatcomebackheistheman)
If there was one guy who would hit a close chip from that position, it was Mickelson with one of his Phil Phlops. I think he's now in a zone where we can forecast 4-5 career majors for Philly Mick now that he got over the hump last year.
As a disgruntled Greg Norman fan (who won TWO majors), when can we start applying the big-league choker label to Davis Love? At least someone like Norman comes close; DL3 just gets close in the final round and then spends his Sundays soiling his mattress.
Oh, and screw CBS for forcing the leaders to tee off at 3 yesterday, thus basically ensuring that the round couldn't finish if there was a delay.
Matt Tracker: Great comix this week. But why not use the Trojan corner to feature the adventures Al Wilson? DEAN: Al Wilson rides it bareback, my brother. Matt Tracker: Waitress, I won't need this omelette after all, thanks. DEAN: He's too much of gentleman to assume that the lady he is with would have a disease and he's man enough to raise any offspring that should arise. HE IS AL WILSON.

I've seen more than one column stating that was the PGA's call, and rightfully ripping them for it. I have to think that with Tiger sitting there at -2 the pressure was pretty intense on those guys to make sure they didn't fall back to force a playoff, and I think that might've gone away a bit with the extra day. (Not mentioning that it was some 95 degrees yesterday afternoon and 70 degrees this morning.)

God bless the men of 2nd Bn, 127th Inf, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army Nat'l Guard...good luck, and come home soon.
Oh, and yours truly's PGA Championship What-the-F*ck memory for 2005:
Finding out Phil won...when I was told by Ryan Longwell.
Yeah, an NFL kicker, during training camp, broke the news to me. (He's the only player I know who will actually greet us media-types on the sidelines during camp. A legit golf mark, too...and a helluva guy. There's rumors he might try to get on some sort of tour.)
Is Longwell as good on the links as ex-Pack kicker Al Del Greco?
