You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

In Nashville at Adelphia Colesium you can park for free, get in for free, meet some players, and watch the draft on the big screen. The radio announcers will also be there to give opinions on the picks and stuff. I'm working so I won't be going, but I think they expect a big turnout as the ads say the first 11,000 fans will get a free something or other. So this is basically the same thing the Chargers are doing.
Also the Titans have this thing called the Titans Caravan. It goes from city to city all summer with two or three players and coaches aboard. You can get free autographs and pictures if you feel like waiting in line when they come to your town. Last year my brother got his pic and autograph of Kevin Carter (the bum). This year Eddie George is supposed to be coming to town. I am a big Ohio State fan so I am looking forward to that.

Since Louisville doesn't have an NFL team and our AFL2 team doesn't play a home game until mid-May, and my beloved Seahawks are thousands of miles away, I guess I'll have to watch it at home.
Plus, there can't be anything more depressing than driving to Cincinnati (the closest NFL team to the 'Ville) to view their latest mistake in person ;-)

Of course, here in KC, there isn't much of a basketball following, so no one besides me cares about the NBA Playoffs. But 2 weeks from now, I will be back in the greater Boston area, and hopefully, the Celtics will still be playing...

Is it possible that the draft was bumped back a week by the NFL, as everything was during the season? Just a thought, though I don't think it's so.

Damn ... Damn ... Damn ... The Titans had a good defensive game plan ... they made Rivers beat them with his arm, as SD's ground game was basically a non-factor. I hear the VY-bashing all of the time.
