I guess so, if you count Smackwdown's post-production crowd enhancing as being "over." The only reaction Scotty gets is for his finisher, and even that is just forced out of habit more than people getting a genuine enjoyment of it.
Joy is gone! I'll always remember her for whatever she did.

Which one was she?
Oh wait...she was Big Show's friend, and a "massage therapist" Candice was the...make-up girl? Maria became an interviewer Michelle McCool was the...trainer? Amy Weber was JBL's Image Consultant
I'd say Candice Michelle better look out. All the others are either gone or being used (Michelle/Maria).
You know what would've been awesome? If WWE.com had announced Chavo was cut, then next Monday, he could show up on Raw and say that Chavo got cut because he was Hispanic, and he can't blame them, which is why Kerwin White is now here to achieve what Chavo never could.
Apparently bios are being taken down well before they are announced as released so right now im just checking over yesterdayas cache bio page over todays to see who is gone or not. Its fun, but serious.

I don't really care about Kenzo. But NOOOOOO! they cut freakin' HIROKO! Those bastards! I was the most excited to see her go on RAW out of ALL the trades (yeah, I know, pretty sad) because I thought she was honestly the most entertaining women (besides Trish) in the WWE.
Sure, I was a little upset over Akio, Haas, and even Dawn. But everytime the WWE is doing cuts, there's always one or two wrestlers that I'm pratically PRAYING that don't get released, but deep inside I know they will. For instance, Kanyon and O'Haire were the first guys in the first cut, Gail & Molly were in the second (although Molly quit), and now Hiroko.
Thank GOD Paul London is the Cruiserweight Champion right now...

Until about an hour ago, all of the bios were up. The WWE's web team is getting SLACK.

To quote Darth Vader quoting Homer Simpson, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh wait, who was she, the broad from the Toby Keith video?
No, that chick was Amy Weber, who quit a while ago. The most memorable thing I remember about Joy is that she was one of the judges on the G4 Video Game Vixen of the Year show.

Nah, I think most of them were actually down. I was looking at the roster page to see what midcarders are actually left, and they had removed the six or eight guys that were released last night.

Kenzo has officially been added to the WWE.com list. Hiroko is not there yet. Another part of the "blockbuster trade" cut. Do they not even have plans beyond a one-week window any more?
But overall, the only ones that truly surprise me are The Dudley Boyz. Stale or not, they are still over, and the only ones I think TNA can pick up and have a true impact.
The Bored are already here. Idle hands are the devil's workshop. And no... we won't kill dolphins. But koalas are fair game.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know if WWE owns the Dudley name? Is that something the WWE picked up when Vince snagged ECW?

You're so much smarter than this. Come on, you're actually comparing a temporary angle with a legend to what exactly? The limitless potential of Akio? I can understand we all have some people we like being dropped here and we're all entitled to our opinions, but you're wasting time complaining about Hulk Hogan. I got news for you. He's not getting cut.
Guess who else isn't getting cut, fellas! The Big Show. I would like everyone who said they want him gone to justify why they would make that move, because it strikes me as terrifically blind. He's over, accept it. Is it only because of his size? Absolutely, but he's the biggest there is and they should keep him around to prevent anyone else from having the biggest there is. He's also pretty charismatic, he's easy to get booked on talk shows, and he is a good representative of the company. That would be a thousand times dumber a move than cutting a mere Charlie Haas.
That being said, I greatly disagree with the cut of Haas. He could work, he was a useful guy to have on the roster. These cuts are shortsighted. Even if they bring in a bunch of new guys, who is going to teach them to work? Why wouldn't you want a bunch of guys you could call on if you have a series of untimely injuries? Having a lot of guys saves us from the potential brain-damage of one person appearing in five segments a night.
I'll also throw my hat into the "surprised" about the Dudleys ring. They did move merch and pop the crowd, which is all that really matters. Now, I hate them, mind you, and won't miss them at all, but I still wouldn't have cut them. Also, Joy was actually cute. Cut one of those fuckin' blondes. There's like then of them.

I gotta agree with HMD about the Big Show. No one was really complaining when he was a having some of the best matches of his career against Brock Lesnar. Now granted, a lot of that was the fact that he was in there with a great athlete in Brock, but Show held his own.
Put him in a feud with Triple H. Laugh if you will, but Triple H made Batista a better wrestler.

Maybe by the time RAW gets to TSN, they can tinker with the sound, 'cause Show is NOT "over" at all. You could hear a pin drop when they announced him as a draft pick and it was even worse this past Monday. And on top of that, hes in the worst shape that I've ever seen him in.
And you could probably get two or three Charlie Haas' for whatever they're giving to Big Show.
I hope TNA gets some TV, fixes their stupid ring, and gobbles up most of today's releases.
Big Show is over. Not enough to be at the tippity-top, but he's over enough to be at the very next level. Basically, all he has to do is be very huge and people will take him seriously. Plus, he's pretty good on the mic, and all in all he's settled into his role very nicely.
The Dudleys supposedly messed with Jim Cornette and one swore that they would never work in OVW again if Cornette was there. They just had a match at the OVW Six Flags show last Friday and are now canned.
This after Fertig was canned soon after jobbing out in an OVW match.
I think that says it quite clearly: Don't mess with Jim Cornette! ;-)
Every year they pull people out and every year there's at least two to three that I wish they would just fire the "writers" instead of the talent. Although Fertig didn't get over the first time, he was over just fine as Seven in OVW and was in the midst of turning his persona into something like a truck-driving good ol' boy that was getting over. Unless it was just personality clashes alone that set it off, there was no reason to get rid of the guy.
It's a bigger shame about Matt Morgan. That guy came back from an injury in the second season of Tough Enough and spent years in OVW, sometimes working WWE events and OVW shows one on top of each other for months. He was good on the stick and had a great finisher in OVW. So they stick him with a stutter, give him someone else's finisher and then fire him after only a few weeks. Damn shame.
Haas was great and it's just bizarre that he is let go after he was in a great tag-team with Rico. They fire Rico, throw Haas in with Holly and then when Haas is still working his butt off, they fire Haas instead of Holly. I know it's about the politics, but it's a shame any way you look at it.
I don't think we'll see either of the Bashams go. They were pet projects of Danny Davis at OVW since '99 and will probably be given some slack for that reason. Besides, they've done their work and haven't stunk out the place yet, so WWE will probably keep them around even if they were being eyed for release. Eugene is just coming back from an injury and was red-hot with fans before that. He probably isn't going anywhere. Victoria is still over, so unless it is mutual, I can't see her going.
Nova/Simon Dean is a possibility, which I wouldn't care to see as I like the guy, but I'm sure he'll be able to land on his feet elsewhere.
