It actually makes sense to me that they'd move Chavo, because he's a heel Mexican cruiserweight on a show that just introduced a heel Mexican cruiserweight stable that he has nothing to do with. This might help him from getting lost in the mix, but probably won't benefit him in the long run. Since they moved both Dupree and Suzuki, I'd like to see them put that team back together. Speaking of teams, I would also like to see Stevie and Nova put together.
I too am baffled by the Chavo move because of the Mexicools. Rey and Eddy are feuding still; who will stand up as the face Latino against a group that calls Mexicans lazy and fat? The only angle that would make sense with all three of them now is to feud with M N M as heels.
I am, however, stoked at the possibility of Dupree getting face time on RAW. His Velocity work has been fun recently.

Didn't really expect to see those names involved ... I echo the La Resistance sentiments. I was really hoping to see Rob Conway get a chance to shine solo.
As far Mark Jindrak, why not team him up with Chris Masters? Better yet, have them back Triple H?
Tajiri & Kenzo could be an interesting face team, as I feel that Kenzo has shown that he can work as a face.
As for Chavo ... I see a lot of Heat matches in his future. He'll get the initial RAW pop when "OOOOOO Cha-vo" hits, but after that, it's up in the air.
Maybe the WWE has an angle planned for Chavo that doesn't involve him being a cruiser, being Latino, or being related to Eddie? Nah...
Moving Candice away from Raw during the Diva Search is a strange move. She's the reigning Diva champion, so you'd think the WWE writers would be able to create some compelling storylines that could actually draw-out a personality trait beyond horniness & mass caffeine ingestion that would compliment the current Diva Search. Or maybe not.
Personally, I've never been a Regal fan. His style in the ring produces far more bad matches than good ones, IMO.

Could work.
What a great idea! I like the idea of Christian with Morgan and Carlito with Tomko more than I like either pairing the other way around. Morgan is more easily mocked and belittled by Christian and Tomko is "cooler" than Morgan. I hope this happens.
Some other thoughts:
I'm glad they broke up the Bashams. Apparently they both have distinct personalities, but as a bald tag team in generic tights, they were going nowhere -- even when teamed up with JBL, which worked for Orlando Jordan. I suspect Danny might be getting a new look, a new gimmick and possibly even a new name. Meanwhile, with Doug on his own, maybe we'll finally get to see the Rage of the MACHINE! As OVWebmistress Miss Pamela warned us: "Everyone's seen what Machine's already capable of just here in OVW. Now imagine crossing an awesome technical wrestler from a wrestling family (like Bret Hart) with a savvy and ruthless promoter (like Vince McMahon) with a total psychopath and you see what he could be capable of in the future."
Simon Dean can be quite an excellent cruiserweight, I still really like the guy, and I think he could blossom on Smackdown if given the chance. By the way, I didn't think he was a disaster on Raw, though everybody seemed to disagree. Maven suffers here, though -- uh, if he's still even associated with Dean. I've lost track.
Jindrak is totally getting cut. I wonder why they even bothered moving him.
I think Chavo really gets hurt by this, too. He's not good enough to transcend the cruiserweight division and/or survive without Eddie. I'd love to know Bischoff's storyline rationale for making this move, but of course, that's never going to happen.
I still wouldn't recognize Candice Michelle if I passed her on the street.
Grenier is finished. Dupree will get a big push one of these days -- he's too good not to. Unless someone is really spectacular, really big or really Randy Orton, they tend to be wary of pulling the trigger too early. He'll do his time and then become a bigger player. Maybe the move to Raw is an indicator that they think he's reached that point.

You're right -- I had a brain fart. Thanks for the correction.
'Course, if I wanted to deflect culpabiity for my error, I'd respond by saying that my goof illustrates how poorly the WWE has differentiated the babes from one another... which is a reason why I hope Alexis wins the current competition. But that would be self-serving, so obviously I wouldn't do that!
At this point, the WWE only hires divas so they can pose in playboy, and then get let go a few months later anyway, right? So who cares if you can diferentiate them.
They fire all the women who look good AND can wrestle, and keep the ones who serve no purpose other than to be breasts and ass on display. I'm sure the women who don't wrestle are cheaper to keep on the payroll anyway.
I'd say the women's division is a joke, except that: A. Joke's are funny and ammusing B. Everybody on here already knows that the women's division is an oxymoron.
Seriously, do we even remember who has the title at this point? I think it's Trish stratus... isn't it?
Any one else here think that Chavo could one day be just as good as Christian, given the chance?
Back in WCW, he made just about everything they threw at him decent... even a freaking toy horse. The WWE paired Christian with Tyson Tomko and at first, everyone said Tomko was shit, but now he's grown to a (somewhat) fan favorite around here.
I'm thinking, well hoping, that he was traded because someone there at the company sees that Chavo can grow on his own away from Eddie and the cruisers and become a decent upper mid-carder.
...and if Eric hands him a taped up Pepe saying that he forgot something the last time they were together, I'd mark like a little girl at a Justin Timberlake concert.
EDIT: Holy shit! Did I just type out Eddie and the Cruisers completly on accident and NOT mean the Michael Pare film by the same name? Cool...

Look, the best part about "crazy Chavo" from WCW was the build to the angle. From the continuous heaping of abuse on Chavo, to his losing his mind, and finally the highlight of the angle (to me anyway) - Chavo submitting to Stevie Ray's devastating pre-match handshake - was a fun, entertaining angle to see.
Pepe just struck me as a "now what do we do with him?" sort of answer at the end of the angle.

That's because this trade leaves the door open for the possibility of more discussions regarding who might get pushed and who might not.
I think the real sleeper here is Chavo, definitely, and agree with a previous poster about his similarities to Christian. And he should definitely stay solo and not join the tag ranks.
Jindrak now joins Masters as new potential Evolution recruits, though I can honestly say that round 2 of that gang would pale to round one.
Am I the only one disappointed we didn't get a straight up Hurricane/Rosey/Stacy for MNM trade? That's the one I really wanted to see.

No your not. I thought that one should have been done.
Or the Tag Title Championships should have their names switched. All WWE Championships on RAW for lineage purposes.

I disagree. MNM need to stay on SmackDown and grow into their seemingly inevitable greatness. They are one of the few highspots for that show now.

I think it's too late to unify the names of the titles, since they've already confused it to hell. But at least, as was mentioned, we have all the "true" WWF/E titles with lineage on Raw, and the new ones on Smackdown. I like this organization better, names notwithstanding.

I'm guessing that eventually they will have Carlito or Jericho show up on the other ones show and begin a feud which will end up on a PPV as a "Loser has to take himself and his show and leave Raw" match.

Because out of last year's Diva Search, the only one to pose was Christy and she's TOTALLY not in the WWE anymore.
