Why was Stevie Richards wearing Tommy Dreamer's pants on Heat? Maybe he assumed he wasn't going to wrestle (as usual) and got stuck without tights...
I was digging that Goldust/Stasiak match. Goldust refusing to do the Shattered Dreams because the crowd cheered for it= GOLD. THAT'S how a heel should work a match.
Well..I'll grant you 1/2 of that match was watchable, and it wasn't the part with "Stasiak" printed on his butt. (Why do they do that? Who started that tradition, anyway?)
"To live like hu-man, to be like hu-man…Why is this not in the Plan?"
WOW! Richards is back? Why can't the WWF find a use for this guy? Richards is heel gold. Just give the man something to work with or someone with some talent to manage. Since coming to the WWF he has been paired with some real stiffs.

The name-on-the-butt tradition began so wrestlers on the road could do a laundry together and not get their delicate unmentionables mixed up ... started by Iron Sheik and Jim Duggan, I believe.

So is heat a mixed roster show or what?
Whether you liked it or not, Stevie's run in RTC was long and got him on TV weekly. He got the group over to some incredible heat. I think his mike work got RTC over more than they ever would have gotten on their own. Heat is a Smackdown show I believe.

I enjoyed the hell out of Heat last night, as I always do. It's been said before, but Heat truly is the wrestling fan's wrestling show. You get to see tons of wrestlers who get no other time in fun matches (i.e. they have no storyline behind them, so the wrestlers can do whatever they want, like Golddust refusing to do shattered dreams). I actually look forward to Heat just as much as Raw. At least it's fresh.
Not to mention the emphasis is not on skits and guest stars anymore. Raven and Coach are doing a great job, too. At one point last night, Coach went into his whole, "Well, let's talk about Stone Cold and the Undertaker..." during a good match and Raven basically told him to shut up and call the match that's going on. Right on, Raven.

I think they did to keep the two cable shows together and the two non-cable shows together. Heat and Jakked/Metal are basically equals now. No more jobber squashes on Jakked/Metal. Heck, there was even a pointless Godfather heel turn on the first SD!-only Metal.
Oh and yes, I`m greatly enjoying Raven`s commentary on Heat.

Well, there's usually a cruiserweight match on Jakked as well. Jakked seems to be where they put anyone who didn't get to wrestle on Smackdown. Last week had Kidman vs. Chavo, Christian vs. Hugh Morrus, and DDP vs. Hardcore Holly. So it seems like it's turning out to be one Cruiserweight match on Smackdown, one on Jakked. Quite a *push*, eh?
