If anything, that's gotta be the greatest thread title ever, right? Ok, i posted this on another board, but wanted to see if i could get help here as well. If this breaks some rule or anything, my most humblist apologies.
----

Ok, heres the deal .. this is what i want to do, and i need to know:

1. Can i do it.
2. How do i do it.

And dumify it, cuz this ol' bastard needs it that way.

I want to be able to hook my X-box up to my DSL WHILE still having my PC hooked up ... without paying for a second hookup ...

Is this possible?

AND

How

First person to help me, gets 1,000,000 points. And gets to sing a song with Drew.

Yes, you can.

Here's a link from the xbox site with instructions.

http://www.xbox.com/en-nz/live/start/connect/router/default.htm

If you are going to buy it online, why not use the "Spend" link at the top of the screen to pick one up at Amazon.com or Walmart.com?

//edit: In the Walmart.com search box, try this one. BEFSR41 It's about $50.

EDIT #2:

If you have to have your PC on to connect, you may need to use Internet Connection Sharing in Windows.

http://www.xbox.com/en-NZ/live/start/connect/sharedpc/

That's pretty much the two options that work.

Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.

Yeah, i think i'll do that, Guru.

But, if i'm going to, your going to have to give up the 1,000,000 points to sing with drew!

Thanks for the tip, though, man. I'll def. buy it thru the W.

Dennis

'Data-in, data-out' signals quantum breakthrough (lines bolded by rinberg) If anybody can tell me, I would like to know why they believe that they can have "quantum repeaters" without it being used to sniff these quantum packets undetected?
