Mike Johnson at PWInsider has reported that Diamond Dallas Page is gone from TNA.
Originally posted by Mike JohnsonAccording to several sources, former WCW World champion Diamond Dallas Page is gone from TNA. Page finished at the Hard Justice PPV this past Sunday. TNA management may not be seeing Page's departure as a loss as they were unhappy that he didn't want to put over Monty Brown without outside interference from Phi-Delta Slam.
It is believed that Page's status was a byproduct of due to the change in political power with Dusty Rhodes (who Page has always credited for helping make him a star and was close to) stepping down as booker. There really wasn't much left for Page to do in the company at this point either beyond putting over others. As noted earlier on PWInsider.com, Page is filming an episode of Entourage tomorrow and is finishing up his "Yoga for Real Guys" book.
Though DDP was over with the Orlando crowd, I give TNA kudos for the stance here. Monty is gonna be one of your top 3 guys (along w/ Styles & Daniels) and he's already been kinda jacked over once.
If Page needed to be in the main event to stick around, let him go. He's not a draw, not enough of a star that a win over him will help make another guy, and thus not worth what he's getting paid. His air time and salary would be much better used to lock up some of the younger guys with potential if this is how he's going to conduct himself.
The Trailer Park Champion has gone home again...Hurrah!
Never did understand the appeal of DDP, from back in WCW or TNA, but do wonder whether or not Lance Hoyt will stay Lance Hoyt or return to his Dallas moniker??

Well, it was a meaningless post, I think you thought you were trying to be funny...except you weren't, AND it was the third post in the same day I'd seen from you that really had no business showing up on the board (the first two being in the Star Wars thread I eventually banished). So let's just say I was sensing a pattern and leave it at that.
Originally posted by MeltzerJeff Hardy missed multiple (the number I was given was six) flights from Raleigh to Orlando and that's why Sean Waltman subbed for him on the show last night. As it turned out, he did end up in Orlando last night. No word on how TNA will handle this situation. Given that this isn't the first time Hardy has missed shows in TNA, it would be hard not to fire him. But given that Matt is scheduled to start in July and they want to do a big PPV based around the return of the Hardy Boyz as a team, it would be hard to fire him.
I'd have to agree with his assumption, especially considering there's money to be made in the reunion. I figure if anything it'll be a suspension and that's it. It's unfortunate that Jeff Hardy can do what would get others fired and get off with a suspension, but TNA is in the position where it can't really afford to pass up an opportunity like this. I say give it a little time until after the reunion, then fire him.
As far as DDP goes, it's definitely a step in the right direction for TNA, which also needs to stop investing big money in talent that hasn't been able to draw much in the past five or more years.

Yeah Tommy was busted for beating on her before. It was the reason for their break up. Well, that and the whole porno flick scandal probably. Of course who does she shack up with now? Kid Rock. Yeah, that'll last.
