Dark match

Rene Dupree b Chad Murdock

Velocity

Nunzio & Funaki b Spike Dudley & Akio
Chavo Guerrero b Shannon Moore
MNM b Stevie Lee & Jason Bates

Smackdown

Matt Morgan is Carlito's new bodyguard taking the role Big Show turned down. Big Show tried to attack Carlito over last week but got a chair shot from Morgan for his trouble

JBL is back doing the political commercials, this one telling people not to buy the John Cena CD. JBL said rappers should be in jail and said instead of buying the CD, you should buy his book.

Scotty 2 Hotty b JBL-DQ via the lucha oriented excessive rudo tactics. JBL pounded on Scotty with a belt after the match until he said "I Quit"

Kurt Angle is banned from the building for attempted rape.

Teddy Long told JBL if he touched Cena, he'd be fined.

Mark Jindrak, who is now back as a heel, and Kurt's buddy again, said to Sharmell T he also likes bestiality. Booker was not amused. I learned at a young age you should never bring your girlfriend, let alone your wife, backstage at a wrestling show.

Booker T b Jindrak who juiced heavy

Matt Morgan b Delirious

Eddie Guerrero cut a promo without saying a word for two minutes, just gave the Eddie Guerrero face and beat up a Mysterio mask.

John Heidenreich b Orlando Jordan clean to get a title shot at the PPV

Bob Holly b Joey Mercury clean with the Alabama Slam so Haas & Holly get a tag title shot on the PPV

Angle does a Titan tron promo calling Sharmell T a gutter slut. he claimed Sharmell wanted it bad and was grabbing his crotch last week. Booker got so mad he dropkicked a TV into oblivion

John Cena was making fun of JBL's book.

John Cena b Bashams in a handicap match with the FU on Doug. JBL attacked Cena and was choking him with a towel but Cena refused to quit. Cena came back and JBL ran off.

-----------------------------------------------------------

~So is Morgan's stuttering gimmick dead(er) now?
~The Angle-Booker storyline reeks of desperation.
~Maybe Jindrak will one day top Big Show's heel-turn record, if he doesn't get sent packing first. Or is it Luger's?
~Who the F is Delirious?
~Orlando Jordan, the most underwhelming US Champ in the history of the belt.
~Couldn't they at least have had Haas beat one of MNM for the title shot?
~Again tag teams are shown where they rank on the WWE food chain.

~Overall seems like a pretty bland, paint by numbers with really ugly shades, show.

Worse than One Man Gang? David Flair? My least-favorite wrestler of all time, Hacksaw Jim Duggan?

Orlando is a decent wrestler. It's not his fault that the US title has been "buried" by WWE.

I like the idea of Morgan as Carlito's bodyguard. Now if he'd just lose the stuttering gimmick (though it might make for some nice comedy spots with Carlito).

Let's hope so. From everything I read about his tenure in OVW, he wasn't great in his ring, but his promos and size were going to make him a star.

~The Angle-Booker storyline reeks of desperation.

And there's no reason that it has to be like that. It's not like, under normal circumstances, these guys couldn't put together a damn fine wrestling match. I'm all for making Angle more of a comedy guy, but I didn't have designs on him making offhanded comments about bestiality.

~Maybe Jindrak will one day top Big Show's heel-turn record, if he doesn't get sent packing first. Or is it Luger's?

I think Kane may be going for the record, too. I don't know why they would turn Jindrak back so quickly. Then again, I had no clue why they would turn him face in the first place. I thought that he was best used in a tag team with Luther Reigns, but I guess taht wasn't to be.

    ~Who the F is Delirious?

I think he works in ROH.

~Orlando Jordan, the most underwhelming US Champ in the history of the belt.

I don't know why they'd give him the belt if they weren't going o push him at all. I'd like to see Rey get the belt and have that for him and Eddie to feud over.

~Couldn't they at least have had Haas beat one of MNM for the title shot?

That was exactly what I was thinking. I think Haas has some real potential, but he's criminally underused. And besides, Bob Holly pinning one-half of MNM is just plain wrong.

~Again tag teams are shown where they rank on the WWE food chain.

And it's a shame. But I think that bringing up MNM and the Hearthrobs has led to some new life in the tag team ranks. It won't be overnight, but I think that WWE is on their way to rebuilding the Tag ranks back to respectability.

We'll have a new candidate for this list if Heidenreich wins on Sunday.

Looks like a rare match-heavy edition of Smackdown....six bouts is much more than their usual lineup of three, even though a couple of these look like squashes.

So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.--- Del Preston

Aren't we missing something here?

Eddie Guerrero cut a promo without saying a word for two minutes, just gave the Eddie Guerrero face and beat up a Mysterio mask.

I had BETTER be able to tape this. Next week, he reads the phone book for two minutes.

I must of missed that when I read the spoilers the first time.

Angle needs to be drafted to RAW like a crackhead needs a hit.

Is this the beginning of a face turn for JBL? Or is he just going to tweak his character by instead of stealing from the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase, but now steal from the Honkey Tonk Man?

I was thinking more of Curt Hennig.

Actually I think three hours is great, get about five or six good matches on paper, build up the hype, let them go. The ppv's have all been either really good or great. A three hour special could do the same.
