Talk about going out with a bang. Not only was it a proper finale, it was one of the funniest shows in the entire run.
Originally posted by OMEGAI loved the show. The opening where Peter lists all of Fox's failed shows, the GI Joe bit and the Japetto bit were the funniest parts in my opinion.
Plus, I must say that I LOVE the Tom Tucker character. Everything from his house being covered with pictures of himself to his deadpan lines ("It's turned his whole life upside down face" .... "Well, I don't care if it's turned his life upside down face or not.") had me cracking up.
The Passion of the Christ 2 trailer was great as well.
As for American Dad, I think it has great potential, but it seems to try too hard to be over-the-top whacky. I mean, do really need a talking fish AND an alien?

Ive always thought (since American Dad debuted) that American dad was just a plot to make Family Guy seem better by comparison- oh well; who knows?
(Like the episode where Meg is given an uglier girl to follow her so she will seem better-looking in contrast)
I've discovered the secret to American Dad...do not watch it a) while drunk or b) right after Family Guy or c) both. I watched Sunday's ep over again (this time with a clear head) and I thought it was a *really* funny show, with a lot of funny jokes and cool characters. Roger/Paul Lynde is really funny, as is Stan. I still don't like the goldfish. Both of the eps that have aired so far moved way too fast to appreciate unless you're sober.
While I don't think that Amercian Dad is great (or even all that good) I do think that people need to actually let it go more than two episodes before they claim it's terrible. I didn't really like the premiere of Family Guy either. I thought the welfare scam plot was kind of dumb but I kept watching it and the show started to completely kick ass. Long term plots like Stewie trying to kill Lois and Brian the alcholic dog got funnier as the show went along. Hopefully the gay alien and annoying nazi fish will also get funnier.
Marge I am just trying to get into heaven not run for Jesus.
Is pretty fucking intense. Everything looks very bright and feels real. I mean like you are standing there. The scope is pretty huge. One kid left crying during the T-Rex scene and I was probably not far behind.
