I hate to keep beating the drum of this show but it really is my favorite television series of all time. Last night was yet another amazing episode. The stuff with Rawling and Claudette was one of the best scenes of the season and I'm still stunted that Dutch pulled the move on Vic's ex. Looks as if next week will be when the shit hits the fan with Vic and Shane, next Tuesday can't come fast enough.

Beat on, my friend, beat on. It is great.

Dutchboy has balls of steel. Corinne really digs him, and you have to admit, after the rollercoaster that she and Vic have been on, a quiet desk cop might be just what she needs. She fell for Vic and she fell for Owen last season, Dutchboy is kind the middle of those two extremes. I know that some feel that Dutch is only a heartbeat away from snapping, but a good woman will keep him grounded. Man, oh, man, is Vic gonna be pissed, though.

The Claudette and Rawling scene was excellent, and very understated. It is a way of bringing these two together when they have been at odds for the whole season.

Shane is very conflicted right now about what to do...it was obvious that he didn't want to pull the trigger on Vic, but Antwon's not-so-subtle threat to his family really made him listen. I doubt they'll kill either character off, so I'm wondering where this will go.

Also, was it out of line for Vic to give up Shane's CI? I know that the guy was an asshole, and a statutory rapist, but that type of thing seems unethical, even if it is to catch a bigger fish. Thoughts?

Wait...did I just feel it necessary to point out that Vic acted unethical?

From the previews next week, it seems like Shane and Vic are going to have a showdown of sorts, but I can see Shane admitting all to Vic and asking him to fix it, as well.

I love Dutch, and it's going to be a bitch when Vic finds out, especially since it seems that Vic's kids (at least one of them) likes Dutch.

I'm going to be very surprised if Glenn Close doesn't get an Emmy nod for this show. She's added so much spark to the show (as if it really needed it).

Last night's show was simply great. I can't wait until the episode where Vic & Dutch have their showdown.

Consistently the best show on TV. Week after week you think they can't top themselves, & week after week they blow you away.

Seeing Vic specifically point out Ronnie's role to Rawling in the Garage sting, made me feel like Ronnie's not going to live out the season.

Vic giving the "no sir, you first" when he & Shane were checking on the CI, was awesome. I don't think Shane's going to have the stomach to take out Vic, & he's going to come clean & ask Vic for help out of the situation.

The eventual Rawling/Aceveda showdown is going to be awesome. I agree with Mayhem about Close's Emmy nod. I was skeptical about her coming into the show, but the character has been a breath of fresh air. Plus, based on last night's reaction to the foster kid's story, we're probably in for some more back-story to make the character even better.

The topper was when Vic took down the Russian, found the arsonist, set it up for them to be taken in, & Rawling's recognition & smile when she realized how they were found were awesome.
Vic's stalking the streets at the end was just intense & bad-ass. Chiklis is simply the best actor on TV today!

As has been said, next Tuesday can't come soon enough...

Last night was one of the best episodes yet.

When Rawling snapped at Vic to keep his mouth shut, I practically said "Yes ma'am, please don't hurt me." She could kill a man with that look at 20 paces.

The tension between Vic and Shane is almost too much to stand, makes me literally hold my breath watching to see what goes down next. It'll be interesting to see how it will come to a head of sorts next week and set up where they go for the last half of the season.

Poor Ronnie gets no love. Vic sells his work on the garage sting to the captain and she doesn't even acknowledge it.

Something else has to develop with Aceveda's relationship with the hooker soon as well. I can't help but smile at the idea Vic will find out about it somehow and turn the screws like only he can.

Shane/Vic will be good, but Vic vs. MILF Hunter Dutchboy is the money match. Haha, that's gonna be brutal...

Sons of Anarchy did get hosed, but it's really not the kind of show Emmy voters watch. (Neither was The Wire.) The Good Wife, however, is right up Emmy's alley.
