My question is, I have the base 128 MB of SDRAM. The max is apparently 512 MB. Now, looking in my computer I see the second slot (at least I believe it the other one) behind the original one that came from the factory. Can I just add another larger piece of memory to that to bring myself up to or near the 512, or do they both have to be upgraded with equal MB of RAM? DO both RAMS have to be equal? Can they be uneven in the numbers of megabites I put in?
It says your system has two banks of one. The number of banks is the number of modules you need to add to reach your RAM maximum. You have two banks of one, so one 512MB chip will do (I didn't see a 512 module listed for your machine, but they may exist).
I've heard that the motherboard prefers two chips, and that a computer runs a bit faster with two rather than one. But I've never verified it.
And yes, you could just add a single 256MB module to one slot and keep the 128. But RAM is so dirt cheap, I'd just drop the extra $40 bucks and max that puppy out.
Edit: I usually refer to this RAM Upgrade FAQ when I have questions about RAM. Really useful.

I forgot all about EWR. How did it end up doing once it was pay to play? I can't imagine it'd be much fun with ranomly named wrestlers. I seem to remember at least one of the WWE video games taking this whole idea and making a 'GM Mode' out of it.
