My three favorite moments from the trailer: 1) The scene Alessandro's picture depicts of Link: Pet Detective saving some kitties. As long as it doesn't turn out that Zelda is actually a man who's still bitter from playing on the '86 New England Patriots...2) What looks like a Goron from Ocarina attacking Link with only his fists. Is this a first for the series to have a character straight-up fight Link? They usually wield swords, spit rocks, shoot arrows, cast magic fireballs, or jump on his back and rape him(those scary underground mummies in Ocarina). 3) Link recreating the opening of Raiders Of The Lost Ark, with the part of the boulder now being played by a big-ass spider.
I didn't think it was possible for Resident Evil 4 to live up to the awesomeness of the videos, photos, and Capcom hype, but it apparently did. Here's hoping Zelda also fulfills the wild fantasies the hype is causing me to have.
So what was ultimately the issue that worried Americans enough to go out to vote? Terrorism? War quagmires? Whispers of a draft? Lost jobs? Don't be an elitist. Our great national crisis:
I am kind of disappointed that they aren't doing a follow up to the Wind Waker, which I enjoyed a great deal. Sure, this LOOKS prettier, but I kind of liked the cell shading, and the game play was just fine to me.
Hope this is good, though. The last MUST HAVE 'cube game I got was Metroid 2, and that left me kind of "eh..."
And I think we may see more of Wind Waker Link, or other similar timeline variants in cell-shaded form. Nintendo will always be looking to do something "New" with Legend of Zelda. There was just so much demand for a true sequel to Ocarina of Time that Nintendo decided to come out with this.
Not that I think this is going to be a true OoT sequel, but the look, feel, and gameplay seems to be similar enough to make me weep with joy.

I agree on Metroid Prime 2. I hated the dark world. Talk about annoying - musically, visually, and gameplayingly (?).
Majora's Mask and WindWaker are direct sequels to OoT. No other Zelda games alude to previous adventured, including Minish Cap, the latest Zelda game to come out. Majora's Mask happens some time after the end of OoT, and WindWaker appearantly takes place almost a millenia after OoT. The stained glass portraits in the hall where you get the Master Sword depict the 6 Sages from OoT, and Lord Jabu, the whale that was the 3rd level in OoT, is in the game in a prominent role as well. Granted, these are somewhat technical arguments, but the proof is in the pudding. I didn't figure that so many people just up and didn't play WindWaker, a fabulous game, because of it's innovative and stunning graphics.
The new Zelda looks amazing, and as soon as it comes out, I'll probably forego sleep for a few days.
Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.
I play. Summoner name RebelliousDink, usually go with Blitzcrank. Seems to compliment a damage carrier especially well, rock out the assists. That being said, if you can carry me to victory, I can bodyguard for Ashe all day on the outside lanes.
