I am so happy with the fact that Eddie is being pushed not as Latino heat, but as rudo eddy.
I totally forgot the fact that eddy was out their up until the belt shot.Anyone out there disagree with the fact that this guy is one of the best heels right now????

EDDY GUERRERO IS MY FAVORITE WRESTLER!!! YEAH HE IS!!!!!
Have they even refered to him as "Latino Heat?" I wonder if that gimmick has been dropped all together. I hope they didn't nix it. I liked the Latino Heat gimmick, and Eddy could have played the part of Rudo Dick Eddy just fine within the Latino Heat gimmick.

It says "Latino" on his tights still. I dunno. I think the "Latino Heat" bit helps him get heat from dumb rednecks without being TOO racist (as long as we don't mention his GED I'll be ok). And all hail the UNDERCUT FROSTED MULLET. Eddy is a god amongst men (but he's still no Hogan). I just hope the Billy Graham Workout Plan™ doesn't lead him to another early vacation...
Yeah, when I said I liked "Latino Heat" I was talking about the later, watered-down version. Latino Heat version 1.0 was just embarassing with the GED, his prom and his relationship with Chyna, etc. Once he dropped the over-exagerated accent he hit his stride with the character. I like the nickname and the music, not the blatant sterotypes.
True dat, that's one thing I never liked about WWF. They always play to much into stereotypes to where it's almost racist. Ex. Latino Heat, Kaintei, N.O.D, Samba Simba, Headshrinkers, the Bolsheviks, and the Iron Sheik....Just to name a few.
As for Eddie, he's always been one of my favorite wrestlers. Ever since his feud with Jericho in the WCW days. What he did on RAW was hilarious. Like when he beat Chyna for the IC belt. Some guys have it and some don't. He definately does, I bet he could be a main-eventer, his nephew's a chump though.

In Fall, 2000, Guerrero was the most over heel in the entire company. I think he can return to that status. Even last night -- after nearly a year's absence from TV -- the crowd was chanting "Eddy Sucks!". If they give Eddy and RVD 20 minutes, it could be a classic. The PPV will need it given the rest of the card thus far.
Eddy's a total badass. I hope, much like William Regal, he remains in control of his "personal problems" and becomes a big time player.

He was drawing more heel heat than the Undertaker. Eddy's such the man. Having him show up in AZ couldn't have hurt the heat level, either. But how 'bout having him, ya know, wrestle?
The RVD/Eddy fued seems to be clicking. I would rather see them slow build to a match at the may PPV instead of at Backlash. Maybe they could have some kind of a tag match at Backlash instead.
Oh, how I love Eddy Guerrero. His in ring ability hasn't diminished in any way. He was on a televised UK card recently and he's still got it alright.
Eddy vs RVD is the best thing about Raw at the moment in my opinion. They've basically took two of my favourite wrestlers right now and put them together, with what seems to be a ring based feud (heaven!). I couldn't ask for more. I just hope they make sure to give these guys ample time at the PPV to put on a real show for us, and if they drag it out over a couple of PPVs then all the better.
"Nobody enjoys a good time more than I do, but this business of yours is as legitimate as a three-legged donkey...which of course is illegitimate because as we all know donkeys have four legs."
You know I always thought it was "Eddie" but all the other kids in the playground say "Eddy" and I'm a sheep. .

What you have to love is that EddIE hasn't done anything but interfere a bit, they haven't stood face to face, haven't exchanged words, or anything..
Eventually I think Eddie will have something to say, talk circles around Rob and RVD will react by making faces trying to stay cool, before he goes off the deep end and jumps Guerrero.
The slow build that this feud seems to get is awesome.. Probably the fact that you get one 'update' a week helps too. (all hail the split!)

When Eddie hit RVD the belt and then fell to the ground as if he were still hurt, I laughed harder than I've laughed at wrestling in a long time. Then, every replay they showed, I laughed some more. Man, I missed Eddie.

Guerrero is one of those guys that just oozes heel, like Regal or X-Pac; you can't help but boo him.
In fact, that is what I always say when he is in heel mode, slowly walking down the ramp, eyeing everybody with a look like 'wtf do YOU want'. He oozes heel..
Regal has the same thing, in a totally different way as far as persona goes. You hate Eddie for what he does, Regal for what he says and acts like.
X-Pac..over the years its become 'bad' heel heat. He used to get the same stuff as Eddie though..

The fact that Trevor Murdoch got some chants during his match with RVD tells me that the crowd was overly smarky. Murdoch has gotten a ton of Internet praise for his columns and Unlimited promos.
