I was watching Scrubs last night, one of my top 5 shows, and at one point, they are watching Sanford and Son and Turk starts singing to Carla, who is annoying him while he is watching the show, to the tune of the theme song. I was laughing so much I missed most of whta he sung. Can anyone help me out?

By the way, last nights episode was awesome. This is the most underrated show on TV.

You know, that "Sanford and Son" part would have been a high point in an average episode, but there was so much other great stuff last night, that I almost completely forgot about it.

To say best episode ever is a loaded proposition, but it was absolutely one of the best ones I've seen.

It wasn't the best episode in Scrubs history, but I would definately put it in the top 5.

This show gets better and better and it is a shame that NBC screwed it out of Thursday night. It would have been a monster hit if it stayed on Thursday as a lead in to the awfully tired Will & Grace.

You kmow a show is going well when the supporting characters and even the less supporting characters are always consistently funny (see The Todd, Lonny, Ted the lawyer).

Just a great show. I look forward to the release of the first season on DVD.

Darn, missed it!
While everyone is praising "Arrested Development" as the best comedy in modern television, I believe "Scrubs" runs circles around it. Both are very smart, but AD just seems like it's trying too hard.

AD and Scrubs are IMO the two best comedies on network TV. The genre has almost died out but in the process some of the crap that prevailed during the glut has been weeded out. Thank reality TV for that. I personally barely watched "sitcoms" at all until Scrubs came out and it seemed to spurn a resurgence of good ones. The other ones that I watch are ( in order of my preference) : That '70's Show,Quintuplets, 8 simple rules, What I like About You, Grounded for life,Reba, Listen up, and Still Standing.
I tried Joey but between being on against SD and Thursday being my Roller Hockey league night, I gave up on it. Good concept but not really planned well.
I actually think Tuesday is good for Scrubs as there is nothing else on that I want to watch then anyway. I just wish AD were on after it then I would be happy and fat. I also just wish 8 simple rules wasn't up against the WB friday night AND Enterprise. But the good news is that ABC just extended 8's season.

Someone else might have mentioned this, so I hate to repeat the news. But -- and I don't want to melt anyone's brain here -- Zack "Dr. 'J.D.' Dorian" Braff is slated to guest star on Arrested Development.

Personally, I want to see Braff stare into space and have a long internal monologue, then have Ron Howard's narration contradict him, then have Braff and Howard get into a voice-over fight.

Ah, a sort-of meeting of the two finest comedies on television.

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Zach is slated to play something like the owner of Girls With Low Self-Esteem. He does bear a resemblance to Joe Francis:

Thank you Justin! Thankfully this will be in my head for a long time, displacing the theme song to The Backyardigans, my daughters favorite show.

Mike's "challenge" to Ronnie was so hilarious. He was totally doing the good ole' "if I act insane, he won't fight me" routine. And Ronnie just closes in for the kill.
